  1. Nevermind, I'm looking at spywareterminator and it does detect malware haha. I've never used it....but it looks like a very cool program
  2. Not sure if you can really compare the two, as spywareterminator is for spyware, while malwarebytes is for malware.....
  3. That seems to have done it! Awesome Hey man, thanks so much for all your help. I really appreciate all the energy you put into all this...
  4. I'm living over in Ontario for school right now. I'm at London, where abouts are you, if you don't mind my asking?
  5. I have, I had a few hiccups, but nothing I could really replicate. I have also only had two major issues, but others have already reported them in the forum. Build 20 seems to be more stable on my cpu. I can't wait for the finished product.
  6. Haha no not really, I just posted a few things here and there. Largely, I became an Honorary Member due to a thread I started and a rather extended collaboration with Exile 360....
  7. Hello everyone, Just a friendly reminder, as edifying as a good debate is I would just like to remind everyone about rules and common courtesy. A topic of this nature is laregly personal opinion and, as I have seen too often, people can become quite heated and an ugly spiral descending into madness and ridicule is all too easy. I've seen this happen too many times on these kinds of forums. Please review this link on how to behave on a forum....We all need to review these guidelines every so often. @Kimsland, I agree with you up to a point. I remember the bad old days when Norton was a resource hog and a sucky AV. I feel you there. But Symantec has made a huge leap forward in improving its quality and after 6 years of refusing to try another Norton product, I was pleasantly surprised. Norton is aimed at the casual computer user. People who do not want to be bothered with running a registry cleaner, a firewall, and who do not have the patience/know-how to tune up their computer will enjoy its ease and accessibility. For more technical users, Norton isn't worth the price, but for those lacking the knowledge/patience for cleaning up their cpu, Norton is for them. A few years ago, I was with you, Norton wasn't worth the price. However, I think the price is worth it. The AV is a stable and reliable product and, also, you're paying for convenience. It is all a matter of what you want, and how you evaluate the costs.
  8. Unfortunately, no love. I keep getting a message that says:

  10. Hello agai, I did the proceedure as you asked and your results are: nothing.... I can assure you I followed your guidelines exactly multiple times and nothing came up. At the comman prompt it says "the system cannot find the file specified" and a notepad document opens up which is blank... I'm going to try again and if the results actually come up I'll be sure to post them here
  11. Sorry, but it seems updater 6 is just not there. I even copied and pasted the file path you posted (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6) into the address bar and windows gives me a notice saying it cannot be found. I then followed the file path directly and when I get to the adobe folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe), there is no file called updater anything. I then checked the folders in the adobe folder (which are backup, caps, and installers) and its simply not there. Should I just delete the Adobe folder and go from there? Thanks.
  12. I can't find Adobe upater 6...it dosen't seem to be there. Should I delete all the adobe folders?
  13. I too would be interested in a copy
  14. hey, dont get me wrong. Norton is an antiviorus program first and foremost and protection is what i look for first. And we both agree norton does a phenomenal job at it..... But the features help too
  15. I'm interested in spyware removal and am thinking about doing one of those "schools" listed on that link Exile360 posted. I've looked them over and am interested in GeekUniversity. Has anyone done one of these courses? If so, what was your experience? What can I expect?
  16. I love Norton. As a typical computer user, I like the fact that Norton 360 has a bunch of PC tuneup features and does them automatically.
  17. I seemed to have posted the link worng, here is the actuaal link

  19. I believe it has been physical forces that have kept the world revolving all these thousands of years haha sorry, i just had to crack a bad joke
  20. I guess you're not a fan of the social networking scene, eh?
  21. some may say that is all that matters these days.
  22. Just did as you requested.....still Adobe fails to update.
  23. Sorry, that must have been my fault.....ooooops My apologies
  24. Done and done, yeah I noticed that IE bitcomet extension thing keeps coming back after I uncheck it. It seems that every time I open bitcomet it will install the extension. I don't really care about it as I rarely use IE. And the Adobe fails to update still. I really don't know whats causing that. I guess it's not too big a deal. I'd like to fix it if i can, but whatever.
