seems to be a FP, do not eliminate the file, just wait some other updates and keep checking.

I think is no right for both, 2 hours or 49 seconds is not real, on my notebook, hard disk 80 gb, free for 70% the full scan lasts almost 30-33 minutes, the quick scan about 5 minutes.

I used MBM since beginning 2008 and I am sure is one of the best software, I noted that in the last period many many FP are coming out, there is a specific reason or is normal procedure?

hello nosirrah, I discovered another discrepancy, file ASTSVCC.dll can be restored from quarantine, the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.......cannot be , I get much confused, use MBM since more than one year and is the first time that happen things like that, do you know how I can restore that cognizance file? I hope you can help me. thank you.

FP did not fix yet, do you know why? I did update version 1743, still same problem, thanks.

malwarebytes update 1740 detect 2 false positive, they are two files runnig on the HP computers. I checked the files on virustotal.com and 39 antivirus did not find any virus. I have avast, windows defender and malwarebytes since almost two years and never had problems.

I don't understand why sometimes MBM does not update, and a windows say no updating due to your firewall, but MBM is allowed to work from my firewall, do you know what's wrong?

I am using avast since more than 1 years and defender too, I believe this is one of the best microsoft software, many times did solve problems on my pc. Because avast and defender do not fight I suggest you to keep it, then is up to you.

it is almost one month that I Have problem during the update, often a window say "you cannot update due to firewall...."but is not true because on the my firewall I did authorized malwarebytes, some days the updating works some other days don't.

this is not an adware, is just a cookie that you can remove every time you want,but come back, is not dangerous.

hello everybody, I noted that the last update of MBM is 29 september, version 1225, is something wrong? usually every day I get new update.

the software is not updated, you have to get the last version which is 1180 or 1181 I am not sure. The virus you get is very bed try to make the scanning in temporary save.

please, can somebody explain me why i have the following problems with 1.27 database 1130. 1) every time that I go to update the 3 address change. Which address is good for update? 2) at the end of scan no report is shown, just says that the same key as the other people is infected. what can I do? maybe delete the program and make new installation o just wait the next update.

dear lucas mc cain, next time when you think to have something wrong on your pc, post on the forum before delete files that can be also false positive, remember that, never delete any file, just keep it in quarantine, right down in the forum and then we will see. When a file goes in quarantine will not give problems and you have all the time to study it and see if is a virus or a false positive. Did you understand this very important matter?
