  1. Simple scenario: 1. Install Malwarebytes Premium on 3 Windows machines. 2. Go into your account (website) and deactivate all seats. 3. Run any of those 3 Windows machines and run Malwarebytes Malwarebytes will run in a Premium mode (even after deactivating) and those machines will be not seen on the device list anymore. So if anyone will get your license key you cannot even deactivate his machine, because he will be invisible and active.
  2. There's a fix already released by Malwarebytes. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/220112-important-web-blocking-ram-usage/
  3. I'm testing it on my desktop and for me it still works fine. Well .. I also did regclean but I don't think it's needed since Malwarebytes cleaner edits the registry on its own. Try to open "My Account" - if it will open without an error (cannot connect to license server) go back to main window and try restart Malwarebytes. Hmm ... I think the problem is caused by the Malwarebytes License Servers. But I'm not yet sure. ---------------------------------------------- ps. seems like patch is released. Thank you Malwarebytes.
  4. I had the same issue this morning - clean reinstall with mbam cleaner tool (https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean) fixed the issue in my case. Regards.
  5. Hello, I woke up my desktop this morning and saw malwarebytes app eating 13 gigs from my 16 gigs of RAM. Web protection was turned off. Reboot didn't helped to turn it on again. I did clean re-install and now it seems to work fine ... I'm very experienced with my OS and hardware and there is nothing wrong with it. I don't use any antiviruses etc. instead of Defender and Malwarebytes. So nothing was blocking it etc. Also I checked all the processes before I restarted PC and there was nothing strange running on. Please patch it - this problem occurs since months for different Malwarebytes Users.
  6. I had same problem - clean reinstall did the job but it's a second time since I have Premium Version when it's happening to me. When I woke up this morning and woke up my PC i saw Malwarebytes eating 13 gigs of my RAM - Windows was literally in a slow mode ( I have 16 gigs in total ) Web protection was turned off and after reboot I couldn't turn it on again. Clean install fixed it. It's not my PC failure not any other app failure - I'm quite pro with operating on my system and hardware so I know what I'm saying. The problem occurs many times for several of Malwarebytes users - it's time to patch it I guess... Thanks in advance Malwarebytes. Regards.
