are you getting a little popup that comes up after the scan finishes in notepad? You should be at least. and you would post that log here (copy and paste it, do NOT attach it): http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.p...ew_post&f=7 along with a description of what you told us originally or just give a link to this thread.

Be careful...

@ MBAM OR SAS Unfortunately its probably similar to the situation that Mystery and Noah found on the first site... Personally I'd just avoid movie and tv show sites unless you are viewing a movie or a tv show directly from the shows own website as they can be a hotspot for viruses, malware, etc... Or for example, on usa network, some of the shows they have episodes online, like, royalpains.usanetwork.com (just an example, not sure if that is the actual url or not) For example, I watch Secret Life of the American Teenager (lol I know... haha) and if I miss an episode or want to see a sneek peek, I get it directly off of ABC familys official website...

What kind of a site is this second site? Also, Exile recommended this site to me: http://www.hulu.com/ Safe, free movie and TV viewing!! So, use that if you wanna watch stuff Just thought I'd pass it along to you!

Counterspy Installation
mountaintree16 replied to Brian67's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
@Brian67 I just did a quick Google search on counterspy, and if what I was reading is correct, Counterspy also has an AntiVirus component, which would mean that you would need to uninstall your current AV since you should never run two AV's at the same time. As for your question, in my personal opinion, Malwarebytes is one of the best anti-malware programs out there, if not THE best. Personally, I'd stick with that over the other program, but if you want to go ahead and use the other program instead, go ahead. However, protection might re-enable upon restart or reboot of your computer (I am not positive on this though, so hopefully someone else will jump in here) so you may need to uninstall, run an mbam clean tool (which I can get the link for you if you need it), reboot, and then redownload mbam as an on-demand scanner. Again, I am not positive on this last bit, so lets see if anyone else answers Another thing that just came to mind, you might just have to add a few things to exclusions lists to use this program with your other programs. -
Well now maybe I could try to make some of my own... heh Then again, I probably wouldn't be able to. I wonder if the fruit is as delicious as the Sobe drink?

Infected with Keylogger?? Help!
mountaintree16 replied to sinister65's topic in General Windows PC Help
Hi! I see that you have already posted your HJT log! That being said, Do NOT download any other programs or try to fix this yourself when being helped as this can make things more difficult for the person helping you. Just follow exactly what they say. Also, as for the scam part, you should have your accounts changed if you haven't already. -

Sounds like you need some expert help. Please do the following, paying special attention to the items in green: Scan and post logs - read note at bottom in green If you're having Malware related issues with your computer that you're unable to resolve. Please read and follow the instructions provided here: I'm infected - What do I do now? If needed please post your logs in a NEW topic here: Malware Removal - HijackThis Logs When posting logs please do not use any Quote, Code, or other tags. Please copy/paste directly into your post and do not attach files unless requested. Please do not post any logs in the General forum. We do not work on any logs posted in the General forum. Please do not install any software or use any removal/scanning tool except for those you're requested to run by the Helper that will assist you. Using these other tools often makes the cleanup task more difficult and time consuming. If you have already submitted for assistance at one of the other support sites on the Internet then you should not post a new log here, you should stay working with the Helper from that site until the issue is resolved. Do not assume you're clean because you don't see something in the logs. Please wait until the person assisting you provides feedback. There are often many others that require assistance as well, so please be patient. If no one has responded within 48 hours then please go ahead and post a request for review NOTE: If for some reason you're unable to run some or any of the tools in the first link, then skip that step and move on to the next one. If you can't even run HijackThis, then just proceed and post a NEW topic as shown in the second link describing your issues and someone will assist you as soon as they can. -
MBAM has impressed all my friends :)

@ Noah Some people wouldn't be doing very much without it. (At least not on the computer). Hurrah for MBAM -

Oops, I'm sorry. I missed that. Thanks for providing the screenshot -
Yep! I just hope that people aren't getting infected from them! :/
-
Oh okay. Thanks Mystery It's not good that its on a malicious range, although I'm glad that the IP itself seems to be okay. Millions of people use Netflix!!! That's the main reason I was so concerned. They need to change their provider apparently then I guess. :/
-
@ Mystery Oh, okay. Yep, I'm on XP, which I think you already knew Hmmm so is it a malicious IP then or?
-
Ech. Thanks for the link Nosirrah. And how right you are. NOTHING LEGITIMATE will do something in the manner that this "company" is. Nothing legit will install without your consent and certainly won't advertise randomly on your system. To the original question poster: You'd do well to completely remove this from your system As for having paid for it, what form of payment did you use? You should have any accounts changed (if you used a debit or credit card) and if you used a check then well I'd get a whole new bank account number...

Oh, is that what Dragonfruit is?
-
Thanks I've tried it (I think), its alright. Not nearly the same though
-
@ Exile aw your favorite too? They really should bring it back. I didn't get around to checking their site. I was thinking about calling the Lizard line (and asking them what happened to it) that's listed on the back of their bottles. I hardly ever get Sobe anymore; that was the main flavor that I liked. Fruit Punch is okay, but doesn't really come close to dragon fruit :/
-
@ Raid Aw Man. I love love love Dragonfruit. I REMEMBER clear Pepsi. I loved it. I don't really like the regular Pepsi. Why do they take away our favorites?
