  1. Wow I haven't come on here in a while. Probably cuz MBAM has been running so smoothly When people ask me to help them with malware, I link them to malwarebytes.org. Does the trick everytime.
  2. wow. impressive I finally broke my 25 second scan goal!
  3. the monitor seems to be working on my computer as well.
  4. hmm...are u going to make separate builds for freeware and pro? new users may skip over it if they see that its labeled as shareware
  5. on my windows 2k, testing the realtime protection makes a popup box asking me to run as another user with higher privileges...but i'm already admin...something isn't right there
  6. Will the fixes be going in? (ie...fix system restore, etc...the ones mentioned in nosirrah's sticky)
  7. Is there any way to manually update MBAM? It would be very useful because then you could update MBAM without allowing the computer access to Internet, preventing trojans downloaders from working ,etc.
  8. well... if you installed mbam in "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' AntiMalware" (I think thats what it is) then you should type in the following" "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' AntiMalware\mbam.exe" /quickscan "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' AntiMalware\mbam.exe" /runupdate I'll try it later when I get back to my computer.
  9. no problems on this side....a stable beta for sure
  10. quick question...is there a plan to make mbam portable? it'd be nice to have at least an on-demand scanner on a usb...
  11. hmmm...marcin...i just updated from 0.81 to 0.83 fine with no errors... As for the scan hang. it happens on my machine too, but if I wait say 20 seconds, it just suddenly jumps ahead to halfway through the file scans so...
  12. hmm...running vista basic here... my scan times are as follows: 1st run of quick scan: 45 sec. 2nd run: 41 sec 3rd run: 39 sec 4th run: 38 sec
  13. wowza...my quick scan went from 1 min 37 sec. to 45 seconds...impressive!
  14. wow...0.80 will be MUCH faster? as if it isn't fast already...(although one of the softpedia user reviews disagrees)
