  1. I really like W7. I REALLY miss filmstrip, though, for viewing pictures... but, I kinda found a way around it hehe.
  2. IE11 is working beautifully for me.... I don't use it for much, at least not yet, but, I've not had any problems.
  3. Agreed! I love Firefox, but adding a ton of bells and whistles in my opinion is unnecessary!
  4. Just saw this, and I do find it amusing Well, most of it
  5. So I doubled-checked my settings and everything was fine... I did need to disable my Hosts file, though to be able to download iTunes. I was able to on Internet Explorer only. It downloaded and installed without a hitch after that...
  6. Thanks for letting us know and I'm glad that you found a job! Happy Thanksgiving & Merry Christmas to you as well!
  7. Thanks Ron, I will, and I will report back here It only happened on Apple so far, and just when I clicked on "download itunes" to bring me to the actual download page. :/
  8. Very true Ron! Thanks for the information. So I can download from FileHippo on Firefox at work (don't know about home yet), NOT from apple.com on Firefox from work, on IE from apple.com at work, at home neither worked. I brought one of my flash drives with me and saved the setup file just in case I can't get it at home, but I am going to double check date & time and try IE again, and if that doesn't work at home, FileHippo should be good to go!
  9. But if the date and/or time is wrong, wouldn't that make everything all wonky? Because that's what happened before when I had it wrong before, the antivirus was weird, I couldn't go online anywhere without warnings on webpages, etc.
  10. Hey Porthos, thanks! I can't tell you how many times that has tripped me up . The computer at work is all good with going to the place to download iTunes on IE, so I'll check my computer when I get home tonight And it is downloading at work here... actually downloading, not pretending to download and then not actually download.
  11. Thanks Ron! iTunes from FileHippo is currently downloading at work (I am going to delete it of course) and when I have a chance at home, I am going to download it there! I did come across another website with a download link, but, I did not want to just in case it was not reputable (it had tech in the url name) and I totally forgot about FileHippo. Thank you so much again!
  12. There is one w7 64bit computer at work, no joy here either... I wouldn't even care but, we have two iPods, a 2nd generation nano and an iPod touch, so, we kinda need it.
  13. I have tried about 8 times now to download it... I get to the point where I can have the option to save the file to desktop, I click save, and then nothing happens. And the setup file is nowhere to be found. It is frustrating. I did some searching and it seems that this is a problem for a lot of people... at least as far as installing goes. I didn't find anyone who couldn't even download it. I can't use IE because apparently there is some certificate issue so it won't show me the option to download. Does anyone else use W764bit and successfully use iTunes? Help! :/
  14. Wow Ron, those are some beautiful amazing pictures! I can only imagine how beautiful it is to see in person
  15. Update: I just decided to reformat just in case, as it was easy enough.
  16. My husband downloaded Firefox from some sketchy website ez-download.com when I told him to directly type in Mozilla.org to the address bar (in his defense, he said that he didn't recognize the way IE is set up for web searching and stuff, which is true because he has not used IE in probably 6 yrs if not more)... anyway he kept asking me if It was ok to install my search dialer and then mypcbackup and I was like wait a minute Firefox doesn't do that... I came out to see what was going on, and it turns out he searched Mozilla.org and clicked on an advertisement, ez-download.com, and downloaded some weird setup .exe file. Obviously I had him close out of the setup process, so whatever the file was, was not fully installed. Here is the scan log: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (PRO) 1.75.0.1300 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: v2013.12.05.08 Windows 7 Service Pack 1 x64 NTFS Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16736 JA :: DUDE [administrator] Protection: Enabled 12/5/2013 7:56:04 PM mbam-log-2013-12-05 (19-56-04).txt Scan type: Quick scan Scan options enabled: Memory | Startup | Registry | File System | Heuristics/Extra | Heuristics/Shuriken | PUP | PUM Scan options disabled: P2P Objects scanned: 203165 Time elapsed: 1 minute(s), 55 second(s) Memory Processes Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Folders Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Files Detected: 1 C:\Users\JA\AppData\Local\Temp\is1275519350\2350356_stp.EXE (PUP.Optional.OptimizerPro.A) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully. (end) This is a brand new computer that I actually just started setting up today (only MSE & MBAM are installed so far & no personal files are on the computer yet), so if this finding is any real concern, I would just as soon reformat then go through a bunch of scans, but wanted to post here just in case. I didn't delete the setup file of the fake Firefox in case you may want a copy of it. Thanks

  18. Please be careful, and it would definitely be a good idea see about pepper spray. If possible, have a friend with you as much as possible.
  19. Poor squirrel, but, she should have come in...
  20. Crazy sky... beautiful pictures Firefox, thank you for sharing
  21. Awwwwhdorable!!!! I love both, but I am a little more partial to cats. We have a lovely part Norweigian forest cat and he is seriously the most wonderful cat. He is so calm, sweet, docile, tolerant of hugs and kisses (grunts during sometimes though, lol!) and he's so soffffttttttt I love petting him.
