1)steps:
*restart the machine.
*hibernate the machine and the wake it up.
*try to hibernate again and the machine stack in a stage with black monitor and fans on. (like cannot turn off hard drives)
2)usually the second hibernate tigers it.
3)if i disable the ransomware and then restart it does not occur this.
Also i have a machine that if i update above the old one version it cant access the internet but it seems that you have found the culprit because i think that is the same with the blue screen.
I want to mention also that the offline version of 4 and also the offline version of 3 even if i disable the update for new program versions it continue to download the latest.
When i search manually for updates.
All the versions are clean installed with malware bytes tool.
I believe that the new update in ransomware makes the writing in hard drive so slow that simply times out, as it slows down the 4k writing speed in half even on ssds.
-
With new version even after clean install the old machine with p5q motherboard cant hybernate
I must close all the malware bytes for hibernate to work ,otherwise it stuck in a black screen with fans on when it tries to hibarnate
I send the logs to @LiquidTension

for testing purpose the exclusion corrects it.
-
And in all ssds the speed is the half even for the slow kingston v300 with 30mb speed 4k writing with ransomware is 15mb/s.
What about ssd in pcie that have speeds 2000 mb/s i dont have them to test.
-
So something changed in ransomware from the latest stable because this behavior dont exist.
The pattern for a program must it analyzed for a few second it seems that a program that makes multiple calls, analyzed forever.
examples:
Macrium reflect backup.
Hibernation with big ram.

After the update 1.0.793 package the 4k writing from ssd benchmark is at half speed.
With the new update when the benchmark test the 4k writing speed of ssd, the files that the test create is constantly scanned by malware-bytes service and that cost the half speed of the drive.
This problem dont exist in previous version and if i close the malware-bytes.
In the photo i attached for example, the speed is 53 mb/s, if i close the malware bytes the 4k writing speed is 96 mb/s
I dont even bother with diagnostic tool because i tested 4 different ssd controllers(with drma and dramless) in 3 different pcs with same result.

A rare plant Nigella orientalis in greek island lesvos that found from my father.

-
This is fixed in beta 4.0.3? If not i will bypass it for now.
-
This is not fixed but they recreated the bug internally. A simple run of test doesn't mean anything. You need to shutdown many times your machine to recreate it.
-
Thanks for reporting back!
-
I will stick with version 3 for the time being and i will retest the next beta.
An additional information is that the above logs that i uploaded here is when the problem exist.
-
I removed the version 4 but because i checked the most questions i will answer.
-Issue don't occur on restart.
-Issue don't occur if fast startup is disabled.
-I didn't test it.
-Its the same.
-My pc boot is at almost clean except a macrium reflect service and a creative sound card and i dont think that them has anything to do with the problem.
-
I contacted him. He said that he removed it but i don't know for sure.
-
After i shutdown my machine and then start it, with fast boot from windows 10 enabled the ipv6 fails to connect until i close malware bytes.
This problem don't exist with version 3.
Windows 10 last stable version 1903.
Windows 10 in uefi mode.
Intel LAN card I218-V with driver 12.18.9.10 and rss load balancing profile to numascaling.
I attached logs and photos:

Porthos i already have the latest it have this cosmetic bug.
If i go to play an old PC game with full-screen resolution 1024x768, with my 1080pmonitor, when i exit the game malware-bytes think that my monitor is 1024x768 and send the notifications in the middle. If i restart is all ok until i go in a full-screen game with small resolution.
