Ok I found a delicious bug after trying to recreate it.
U can recreate it very easily.
In my documents i have a rar file. If i unzip it and try to move it in my desktop (cut paste) it says that it cant complete the action because it is open in another program.
I only can move it if i disable ransomware protection. If i re-enable and follow the same action file in the folder can move.
In my image as u can see i have the UBU_v1_69_15 .rar file. I right click and i unzipped with winrar in the same documents folder. Now if i try to cut paste it in my desktop it says it is opened by another program and it cant.
Now if i disable ransomeware protection i can unzip it and then cut paste it in dektop.
Do u need any logs?

I clean reinstall it until now it delete the file instantly.
Now days is so difficult to find the problem as yesterday i updated the nvidia drivers and the motherboard bios with the spectre fix (haswell microcode 24)
-
1)yes the os is on ssd. The files i delete is only from ssd or hdd or both i tried all combinations.
2)yes it takes 8 minute.
3)i tried with all 4 shields disabled before i unistall it. It is the same .
-
1)whatever files dll,movies,mp3
2)i7 4790, z97 motherboard , 1 ssd with 3 disks.
3)the files i delete it doesnt matter if they are in ssd or hdd.
4) when u try to empty the recycle bin it deletes so slow that weites 1file/second.
I am back to 3.3.1 and all the files delete instanly.
i dont have logs because i am back to the stable one.
-
Both beta and beta 2 have a problem with recycle bin.
I tried it in three different machines with ssds.
It is easy to recreate when you put 400-500 small files in recycle bin dll and exe.
When you go to empty recycle bin with 3.3.1 version the recycle bin empty instantly with both beta version it deletes 1 file/sec.

Malwarebytes does not check for scripted malware, document files, media files and it is incapable of removing malicious code that has been prepended or injected into legitimate files like virus infected files.
It is good butt for me it is the best to use it with a full antivirus program

I didnt try it but i had the same issue in mbam version 2. Its the antimalware engine that slow down the execution. (because it scanning the file) and propably more when also antiexploit involved.
But the standalone antiransoware i am sure it has zero impact in performance.
I know that malwarebytes has a hight detection rate so propably it makes complicated checks when i start a program so it slow downs but there is no need from my point of view to check again and again the same program if it it not modified.
Also i have in my pc 4 hard drives and 2 dvd roms. If i open my pc(shortcut in desktop) and go into c then go backwards then go into d then go backwords, theese all operations are slow. When i unistall the program i can visit any hard drive instanly. So i am sure some shield or all the program track every change of windows explorer.
I am thinking thats internally all these shields check one the other and slow down the actions as i see that different teams create them and then all incorporated in the same product. They need to internally whitelist the action of eatch shields. That why i think the exe files that use also exploit shield make so mutch time to start.
lets make an another one example when i go to -http://www.userbenchmark.com/
and run all these benchmarks it says high cpu usage behind the scene after i finish the test without malwarebytes i dont have this indication.
That why i concluded that it no only scan the exe files for infections but tracks all the changes that the exe files makes.
*One other exe file that the team can try to check is windows mail that provided in windows 10 x64 bit and i have checked 3 different pcs.
with malwarebytes it opens in 3-4 sec. With only eset and standalone antiransoware it opens instanly.
Also track the cpu usage when you try to open it and without it.
In my opinion if the team has a way to make it more intelligent to not scan and track all same programs again and again and compromise a little of its security, personally i will pay this price.
Thnks for your time

Thanks for your answer.
The only issue i have (and it will be not noticable for an average user) is the slow execution of exe files.
For example on a very high end gaming machine with no overclocks i7 4790 16gb ram and a ssd. The word 2016 open in 4 sec, edge take 5 sec if i unistalled malwarebytes they loads up instantly..
I have found the slowest exe execution is when an exe is both handled by antimalware module and antiexploit module.
for example exe like: mozilla ,edge, internet explorer, word , excel, adobe acrobat.
The only other security program i have is eset but allso without it the execution is slow.
Maybe in future u need to create a cache system.

Hallo i have Malwarebytes 3 pro but i need only the antiransoware module.
So i unistalled it and installed the antiramsoware beta.
I have few questions.
1)The antiransomware updates automatically to new versions?
2)It updates only on system startup?
3) do i need to put my malwarebytes license in it or it is free?
thanks

Enyone know about this?

When i ping ipv6 sites like www.ipv6.google.com ,and i have malwarebytes malicious protection enabled the first ping timeouts.
When i close malwarebytes protection my ping works ok.
This is a problem with ipv6 sites only.
here is a pic:
First pings with malwarebytes disabled and second pings with malwarebytes enabled.

With win7 malwarebytes + MSE my pc boot up instantly but with win 8.1 malwarebytes + win defender my bootup is 2 minutes.
I have the matual exclusions same in both windows.
If i disable defender also this system bootup instanly.
Maybe something is different on defender.

Yes they will be used in the same machine in the same hard drive and i cant run both in the same time (it is imposible i can only choose one os in the beggining).
Thnks for ur time.

Hallo
I have malwarebytes 2 with a serial forever. (i had bought a license old days)
Now i have 2 partitions
one with windows 7 and another with windows 8.1.
Can i install it also in windows 8.1 withe the same serial?
Because if i select in boot screen windows 7 malwarebytes protect me.
But if i select windows 8.1 do i need to buy another license or can i use the same.
Practically i dont think that it is illegal to install it in the 2 partitions.
Thnx for ur time.
I will wait ur answer
Sincerelly

1)U have kingsoft pc doctor with antimalware?
If yes disable real time and retry.
It my test it makes many games to not work because of bad implamation of real time.
2) install again this :
If u have x64 version install both x86 and x64 versions.
P.s i am a simple user ,so use the tips with ur own risk.

Anything new to this?
Just tried it.
I made a scan.
It finished properly. So maybe it is fixed.
-
Thanks, that confirms my suspicions that the issue is not specific to the beta. I have asked our Research team to investigate.
Thanks for the information. I've passed it on to the Developers.
Anything new to this?
-
Are you still seeing this issue? If so, could you try removing the beta and reinstalling the current release version of 2.0 (2.0.1) again, updating the database and performing the same scan and letting us know if it also gets stuck? I ask because I suspect this may have to do with the database more so than the version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware you're running but I want to make sure.
Ok in a machine with windows 7 32 bit sp1 Both versions works.
In machine with windows 7 64 bit sp1 both versions stack here :
-
With this new version whatever scan i select it stuck at the end of heyrestic analysys. ( time counts and scan never ends)
I make a clean install the same.
In previous version 2.0.1 i dont have that problem.
I have windows 64 bit sp1 + all updates + avast with matual exclusions at default settings.

U can try to delay active protection for 45 second from options. then restart ur machine and see what happens.
( i am a simple user that i try to replicate it).
sincerelly,

We wait it

Excellent, we did a lot of work on Malicious Website Protection and rebuilt it from the ground up for Vista SP2 and later Windows versions, and one of the aims of that change was to eliminate the latency issue. Thank you for testing and confirming that the issue is now resolved .
Yes the quality of malicious web protection is excelent in version 2.0 .
Thnks
-
The dpc latency resolved in all my 3 machines. We wait the next beta release

Every time malwarebytes icon shows in taskbar (icons near clock) my floppy disk play a sound like is something in it. (for examble every time that mbam beta pro start aytomatically in every restart, or when i click mbam beta free shortcut to open )
In simple word every time that i have mabm icon in taskabar from first time after a cold start my floppy disk accessed. Also when i exit mbam from taskabar and when i relunch mabam from shortcut again it access my floppy drive.
my floppy is empty, it dsent open a window and i am running windows 7 sp1 64 bit all updates.
And generally i dont see enything bad except form the sound i hear and the floppy disk led that light.
soz for my english and thanks for your time.
3.4 and beta 2
in Malwarebytes 3.x Beta
Posted
I included a foto and a processmonitor log file.
Now if i try to delete this folder that i cant move to dekstop the deletion is slow.
So to recreate the bug u must unzip a folder in documents, try to cut paste it in desktop and the try to delete it. All of them only after a restart. Dont try to recreate it from shudown.
