  2. If there is nothing wrong with the site then none of the engines should find an issue. As of today on rescan at VirusTotal there are now 5 engines that detect that website. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/f4d34900529b42004c4d35f0b43eea0eeb9fa557475831d7f820423929a64776/detection Norton Safe Web also blocks it as a blacklisted website not to visit. Are you the owner of that website @leo3487 ? If you are then you need to work with each of these companies to verify and clean up the issues of why they believe that site is attempting phishing behavior

  4. I'm not seeing them blocked in Firefox for me. Tested in Chrome and they're working there too

How to permanently disable Windows Defender Antivirus on Windows 10 https://www.windowscentral.com/how-permanently-disable-windows-defender-windows-10#page1 It will show 3 way on how to disable Windows Defender. I know yours is disabled but looking at the images/pictures you may find one where you can enable it. Keep me posted.

  10. Hi Rich, This won't have any impact on your Malwarebytes subscription. You ran into an issue with upgrading from Malwarebytes version 3 to Malwarebytes version 4 (beta). We have a defect filed for the issue and hope to have it fixed in the next release. You will need to carry out the instructions above to perform a clean uninstallation with the Malwarebytes Support Tool (refer to the steps labelled as "B"). Afterwards, you should have no issues reinstalling Malwarebytes version 4 using the download link provided.
  11. I ran the Microsoft Safety Scanner as suggested. The scan found the following: The top 3 when clicked upon all recommend steps using Windows Defender. Opening the Task Scheduler as described here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17464/windows-10-help-protect-my-device-with-windows-security#1TC=windows-10 then clicking Windows Defender does not show anything in the center panel. Upon checking further, searching for Windows Defender in my Start Menu and finding Windows Defender there, clicking I see Windows Defender scanning is off: Should I turn it on? When I continued with ESET, I was given an opportunity to allow ESET to periodically scan. Is there any value in that? I didn't allow for now. Thank you.

What types of files are you shredding and where are these files located? ----- Please do the following: Open Malwarebytes. Click Settings. Enable the Event log data setting. Download Handle to your Downloads folder: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/handle Extract the contents of the Zip file to your Downloads folder. You should have a file named Handle64.exe in your Downloads folder. Reproduce the issue where you're prompted to reboot, but do not perform the reboot. Click the Windows start button, type CMD, right-click Command Prompt and click Run as administrator. Enter the following command: "%userprofile%\downloads\handle64.exe" >> "%userprofile%\desktop\handle_output.txt" Gather logs with the Malwarebytes Support Tool and attach the generated mbst-grab-results.zip: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2396 Attach the generated handle_output.txt (found on your Desktop).

What steps are you taking to replicate/experience this issue? Could you provide screenshots as well. Are ads no longer being blocked within browsers? Does this occur with all browsers you use or just one in particular?

I see; the images states that you have 1 device available to activate your license on so please try waiting about 1 hour and then try activating Malwarebytes with your license again to see if it works (sometimes failing to activate a license multiple times can cause an issue where the system needs time to reset itself before trying to activate the license again). If that doesn't correct the problem then please wait for Support to respond to the ticket you created and they will assist you further.
