Internet Explorer - Flashes and disappears. Firefox appologizes and quits.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My PC ( Running on Windows XP) somehow got Antivirus 2009 trojan and very annoying TDSServ.sys issues. My PC was running extremely slow. Cntl + Alt + Delete did not work. IE7 and firefox would not even open a session. They were just dieng. Referred by my friends, I found MBAM. MBAM's detailed forum discussions helped me to disable TDSServ and made my PC workable again. It helped me in removing the TDSServ.sys trojan and a lot of others. I ran both quick scan and full scan.A million thanks to you as I was desparately looking for a solution for more than 2 weeks.

Atleast, my PC is letting me login now without freezing and beeping.

Now, when I try IE7, my session is redirected to runonce.msn.com and immediately disappears. Firefox quits. I tried adding Runoncecomplete with a DWORD 1 using regedit. It did not help. My IE7 session holds still. The moment I type in an URL, IE7 session disappears. No improvement in firefox.

I have mcafee antivirus software with spam and spyware protection. Superantispyware did not detect any issues. I have mcafee and there are no viruses and spywares that were detected by mcafee.

Can some one please help me? Attached is the latest scan log by MBAM. MBAM always detects one malware from malware.trace. No matter how many times I scan with updated versions of MBAM, it is always there. The database version is 1580. Is this causing all the problems?

Thanks. I have a doubt. If my IE7 is not working, how can I do a panda scan? Any suggestions?
