Hello, and welcome to Malwarebytes, bugman:

EDIT: Is this the same computer as the one mentioned here: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=88382 ???

If so, then please read below:

Sorry to hear that your computer may be infected.

Alas, we cannot review scan logs or work on malware detection/removal in this part of the General MBAM forum.

If you would like expert assistance with cleaning your system, there are 3 support options from which to choose:

  • Option 1 -- Free, Expert advice in the Malware Removal Forum
  • Option 2 -- Paying customer using MBAM PRO -- Contact MBAM Support via email
  • Option 3 -- Premium, Fee-Based Support

OPTION 1

As we don't deal with malware removal in this General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to stick with the thread you already created in the Malware Removal forum so that a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

  • First, please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete.
  • Since you have already started a thread at the malware removal forum, please make sure that, under "options", you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.
  • Please do NOT start another new thread there or reply to the one you already started, as it will only lead to delay & confusion in getting you help. :)
  • One of the expert helpers there will give you free, one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.
  • Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer such as (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine.

NOTE: Please DO NOT post back to ("bump") your topic within the first 48 hours.

Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post, helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post.

  • o If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again.
    Or
o You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance.

OPTION 2

Alternatively, as a paying customer using MBAM PRO, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or here.

OPTION 3

If you would like to use the Malwarebytes Premium Services (Comprehensive solutions to all your computer support needs -- from installation and set-up to troubleshooting and tune-ups), please go to the Malwarebytes Premium Services support site.

Please be patient, someone will assist you as soon as it is possible.

Hope this helps!

PS: Please use the a8JTu.jpg button instead of other ones when you reply here and at the other forums, so that it will be easier to read. :)

i'm just too computor stupid to follow all of your instructions in what to do now. i'm think about to the point to throw away the computor instead! i can't even paste the stupid dds right! i hate computors right now!

bugman, no need to hate your computer, or throw it out the window, you seem to have already posted in the right section with your other post in the HJT section. The expert there will walk you through all the steps needed to get your computer clean. You don't have to be an expert, and if you don't understand what they want you to do, just let them know and I am sure they can walk you through it at your level of understanding.

Hello, bugman:

Yes, computer problems are certainly maddening, especially for us home users. :(

I've been there many times, myself.

Here's the deal:

1) You have a post with a new thread started in the right location over at the malware removal forum -- That is good. :)

2) You haven't managed to submit all the requested scan logs because you're having some trouble with the instructions -- That is OK. It can all seem a bit overwhelming. It might help if you print out the instructions, at least for the parts about the MBAM and DDS logs; it will make it easier to follow.

3) It is best that you not reply back to you other thread until an expert has picked up you case. So, please just sit tight until an expert is available to help you. Even if your post is not on the front page of the malware removal forum, the helpers know to scan for those threads with a "0" reply count. If you have the MBAM and DDS logs ready, just wait to submit them until the helper asks.

4) When a helper picks up your topic, they will guide you through the steps to run whatever scans and submit whatever logs are needed.

Please do be patient -- the forum is busy, most of the experts are volunteers, (and there is a US holiday coming).

It can take up to 48 hours for someone to help, and you just started your post this morning. ;)

If you are really cannot wait, then you can try one of the other 2 options listed in my previous reply -- Option 2 is free, if you are already a paid user of MBAM PRO; Option 3 is fee-based, but they may be able to help you more quickly.

Hang in there,

daledoc1
