malwarebytes scan crashes and reboots computer

Hello I just downloaded malwaybytes. Did a quick scan and it reported no inflections. I then decided to do a full scan. During the full scan all of a sudden my computer crashed and rebooted. This has happened a few times now and including during a quick scan I tried again although it did not happen the first time.So it happens whether its a quick or full scan. No error report comes up just computer crashes and reboots. I can not complete a scan anymore since the first successful scan. AVG reports no virus or threats. Any suggestions on what I should do. I am going to uninstall and reinstall the program in the meantime.

Hello, I tried it with excluding as per your instructions. No change. During scan it crashes my computer all of a sudden and reboots. No other software scan from other companies does this. There is no virus on my computer so there has to be some conflict going on but what. ?

Hello carmax:

Please do one more attempt of scanning with (Heuristics Shuriken Disabled) after definition update (current 5485)

1. Click on Settings
   
2. Click on Scanner Settings
   
3. Uncheck Enable advanced heuristics engine (Heuristics Shuriken)

Unfortunately that did not work. The version that I just updated to is 5486 and is the one I ran the test with. If you have anymore suggestions I can try them. Thx

Are you able to run a full scan while in safe mode?
