My desktop isn't letting me open anything w/o opening it as an admin.

Recommended Posts

Every time i try to open anything on my desktop at pop up warning comes up and says

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item".

Is there something i could do?

I have the free version of M.B. and sophos on my computer. When doing this i am longed into the administrator account.

For about half a day the other day my windows security said that something was getting past my protection but M.B. or my anti virus didn't detect it. I'm asking for help on there forum too.

Thanks
