AVG antispyware f/p mbam-setup

i'm cleaning a laptop and installed mbam 1.17 and did a scan with AVG antispyware

and it's finding

not a virus adware,eshoper in mbam-setup.exe

Have I got this right, AVG is saying MBAM is adware? To be exact eshopper?

Well, MBAM does use kernel hooks for the real-time monitor, but I thought most real-time anti-malware used kernel hooks. Why on Earth anything would think it was malware is beyond me. Maybe it's the type of compression Marcin used?
