After update - context menu doesn't show...

Hello,

So I have just updated to the latest version of MBAM and after rebooting the context menu option for MBAM was missing.

To get it back I had to Open MBAM --> settings --> Uncheck the 'Create right click context menu'

Close and then do the reverse...now I have the context menu option back.

IIRC this happened with the previous update also, is there a known reason for this?

There are just way too many different computers and configurations and software to really determine why you would have had such an issue. In most cases after the update and reboot (you must reboot after the update) the system works just fine as expected. In some cases you will need to then also tell your AV and Firewall about the new version and reset the exclusions.

You can user REGSRV32 /U mbamext.dll to remove it and REGSRV32 mbamext.dll to put it back.

I'm guessing that is all the setting within MBAM is doing?

Just un-registering/registering the .dll...
