  1. Had a feeling that I wasn't the first... It suits my laziness PERFECTLY...
  2. Can't edit, but wanted to add. Thanks
  3. I asked and one response was this: Since it is to be run from USB drives size can be an issue... I understand UPX can cause issue with AVs etc...
  4. Via PortableApps: http://portableapps.com/apps/development/notepadpp_portable
  5. I'm very lazy, so when I encounter a False Positive with MBAM I don't really like running the complete scan for just one file. So, I had the idea to create a shorcut to MBAM with the /developer parameter and it works. I thought it would be useful to everyone else as well http://spgscott.wordpress.com/2011/05/15/adding-malwarebytes-developer-mode-to-the-context-menu/ Scott
  6. The text editor. The one that is detected, is from the portable version, but I think it would apply to the normal install as well. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 6583 Windows 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.19048 5/15/2011 12:20:35 PM mbam-log-2011-05-15 (12-20-28).txt Scan type: Quick scan Objects scanned: 395 Time elapsed: 14 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 1 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: c:\Users\Scott\Desktop\notepad++portable\App\notepad++\notepad++.exe (Trojan.Agent) -> No action taken. 7. Thanks, not detected anymore with 6069 I love the fast turn around here B)
  8. Pro version blocks the inetc.dll upon running, and when running the free version (which I use) will catch it too. It is a NSIS based plugin that is used in, among other things, the PortableApps updater. More info can be found here: http://portableapps.com/node/26828 This is a false Positive. WRT the unconfirmed 95973.crdownload, this is unrelated, and probably a good call on MBAM's part...not really sure about it, but a little more info wouldn't go amiss, if possible Main point is the inetc.dll FP Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 6067 Windows 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2 Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.19019 3/15/2011 7:51:25 PM mbam-log-2011-03-15 (19-51-17).txt Scan type: Quick scan Objects scanned: 210005 Time elapsed: 6 minute(s), 38 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 2 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: c:\Users\Scott\AppData\Local\Temp\nss9FF8.tmp\inetc.dll (Trojan.Agent) -> No action taken. 9. Digital Fortress? (though in that book it was the NSA doing something similar )
  10. Thank you, it is no longer detected.
  11. Hi, Filezilla.exe from FilezillaPortable (PortableApps.com) is being detected, I believe incorrectly... Here is the MBAM Dev log: filezilla.zip Thanks,
  12. It actually can be changed. I am also with sky. You can log into the router, just like you would any other. http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/sky-router/772-sky-router-setup-configuration.html The access instructions work for the wireless router I have that I got with them, even though it is a different one...(sagem)
  13. How about IcoFX Portable? http://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/icofx_portable
  14. @lodore, Admin thing works for me, although there is a second admin prompt for MBAM...Doesn't really matter for me any way, will just use it normally. Thanks, @AdvancedSetup, If I had the money, yes....but alas, I don't...(also not down to just me...) And the batch file is because I am INCREDIBLY lazy -Scott-
