safe mode

If you are in safe mode, and MBAM wont run in safe mode or in normal mode, then more than likely you may be infected with some malware on your box. Follow these directions listed below:

We don't work on Malware removal in the general forums.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someon has replied to your post.

Welcome -

Malwarebytes is designed to run in normal mode - Not safe mode as you will not get a true reading/scan result -

Have you fully updated to the current version - From memory - 1.44 Version 3598 (or similar) -

so im in safe mode trying to run malware and it still wont open the app any suggestions on what i need to do!

Is there a reason you can not scan in normal mode ??
