[ RESOLVED ] Malwarebytes Pro 1.70 isn't updating

I am running Windows 10.  In May 2013 we purchased a new computer and a  lifetime subscription for my PC of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro.

It has been updating and working fine till March 13, 2024. I now get a notification that it hasn't been updated in 19 days.

When I try to manually update it says it is running the latest database, even though it hasn't been updated for 3 weeks.

I have the  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Pro version disk (including the ID and key numbers) that I purchased. I saw on a previous

post in the forum that version 4 is out now. I don't know how to proceed to get this version to work or get a new version installed.

Uninstall what you have and download and install the following.

Version 4

Version 4 is only available with the offline installer.

v1.7 a dead product that hasn't been supported for several years

Those who never upgraded were just lucky that "some" definitions were still available for it, until very recently.
