Bunch of errors fixed. Some improvements like the drive icons and window size that people have requested.

Version 0.78 Beta (December 6th, 2007)

1. (FIXED) Error using FileASSASSIN without running scan first.

2. (FIXED) Lots of typos and improper grammar.

3. (FIXED) Minor problems with language loading and display sizes.

4. (FIXED) Window size is now smaller.

5. (FIXED) Service and GUID scanning.

6. (ADDED) Better error handling to database loading.

7. (ADDED) Drive icon in full scan form.

E-mails being sent out now.

I noticed a lot *less* items were scanned this time....

i uninstalled mbam 0.77 and installed mbam 0.78 then i turn off avria antivir ps classic

7.06.00.270 guard and turn off superantispyware pro 3.9.1008 real-time protection

and exit comodo firewall 3.0.13.268

then i do a full scan with mbam 0.78 and at 68% of performing extra and heuristics scan

mbam seems to hang and stay at 68% and then 3 minutes later it finshes it did not do this before

when i watch the scan with the task manager mbam cpu goes between like 20% to 45% using the cpu

but when it gets to 68% and seems to hang cmdagent.exe goes to 80% and svchost.exe goes to 11%

lsass.exe csrss.exe are between 2% and 4% and in the task manager it shows 100% cpu usege

but the scan finshes

then i do a quick scan and it finshes fast comodo is going to have a new version out next week

to fix some problems so i doin't know but i do know it started about mbam 0.74 and it did not

happen with comodos v3 betas or the rc

Hi Marcin, Bruce, hi everyone,

I didn't read anything about this and I wonder if it is normal or if there's something wrong here.

In C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, I only have the "Languages" subdirectory!

In the past, till the end of September, I also had a "Logs" one in which were saved the results of every scan. I also had a "Quarantine" subdirectory.

How is it? Did you announce this and did I read poorly?

The option "Automatically save and display logfile after removal" is checked; the window with the result pops up after scan.

PS: I just realized recently as I was checking the French translation.

Update went fine. Scans are super quick. Quick scan = 1minute 57 seconds and the Full Scan 15 minutes 04 seconds. No bugs to report. Thanks.
