Malicious code embedded in digital files on a public forum.

I requested permission to use 3 digital image files from Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah, to highlight their business in my travel blog. One or both of the digital images have malicious code embedded in them, which ruined the font on my page. It would not allow me to change the typography and went virtually undetected with the Malwarebytes system scan. I am not sure what else is embedded in it. Please let me know if it poses a threat to the owner's webpage. Thank you.

Malwarebytes does not target script files during a scan.. That means MB will not target; JS, HTML, VBS, .CLASS, SWF, BAT, CMD, PDF, PHP, etc.

It also does not target documents such as; PDF, DOC, DOCx, XLS, XLSx, PPT, PPS, ODF, etc.

It also does not target media files;  MP3, WMV, JPG, GIF, etc.

Malwarebytes will block the execution of files like these only with the anti-exploit module of the paid program.

The first I checked is clean https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/7a6c10ee96e875380322f9397c63f5e1f751eff941cdc6a9b07fa5855db249da?nocache=1

The site is fine as well. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/url/d8eb3af8ebd58b7e653bb5e3525a823291dea8d3196157ac3e3c75a3a98280e7?nocache=1

They are normal JPEGS, are not malicious and there is no malicious code embedded such as through steganography or other means.
