NVIDIA CORPORATION - EVENTS.DAT-SHM

Hi,

I just wanted to report a possible false positive linked to the Nvidia Corporation Telemetry files. I've included the scan report along with the zipped file below.

Note: I know about the "Use expert system algorithms to identify malicious files" setting and have it disabled for regular use. I just wanted to let you know about this file.

Thanks,

Christopher McMahon

Good to hear. The post is to inform others that this setting should remain off.

Staff will check and whitelist if appropriate.

actually the file you attached isnt the one i whitelisted. Also its a non executable file and should of never been detected.  The one attached doesnt match the md5 in the report you attached.

If you want me to figure out why i would need the mbamservice.log zipped and attached here:

C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\logs
