exile360 Posted September 4, 2020 ID:1405624 Share Posted September 4, 2020 Greetings, I'm sorry you're experiencing trouble, but we should be able to help. To begin, please do the following: Download and run the Malwarebytes Support ToolAccept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply Once that is done, run the tool once more, but this time perform a clean installation of Malwarebytes to see if that corrects the issue: Run the Malwarebytes Support ToolAccept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from hereOnce that is done, open Malwarebytes and got to settings by clicking the small gear icon in the upper right, then click on the Check for updates button located under the General tab and allow Malwarebytes to download and install any updates, restarting your system if prompted to do so to complete any pending updatesNow try to perform a scan and verify that Malwarebytes is able to successfully check for updates and complete the scan process Please let us know how it goes and if you continue to experience any problems. exile360 Posted September 4, 2020 ID:1405789 Share Posted September 4, 2020 Yes, that's fine. Just let us know if you encounter any further issues, but hopefully it was just a one-off issue which will not occur again.
