Website blocked due to Trojan

Recommended Posts

I have been getting this warning several times a day on www.chrisbytheseamotel.com.

I have not been trying to navigate to this site since last summer. The warning states that my browser (MSN Explorer) is attermpting a connection.I suspect some sort of malware/redirect, but malwarebytes scans have not found anything.

Attached is the Malwarebytes report and the two FARBAR files, which I ran after researching responses to other users' issues.

I would appreciate help in figuring out what is happening.

Greetings,

First, please try running ADWCleaner if you haven't already to see if it is able to detect and remove the threat.  Use it to scan and have it remove anything it finds and then restart if prompted to complete the removal process.

Once that's done if the issue persists or if ADWCleaner didn't find anything, please open Malwarebytes and go to Settings>Protection and under Scan Options toggle the Scan for rootkits option to On and then return to the Dashboard tab and click Scan Now and allow it to scan your system and remove anything it finds, restarting if prompted.

After all that, if the problem still remains then please read and follow the instructions in this topic and then create a new topic in the malware removal area including the requested logs and information by clicking here and one of our malware removal specialists will assist you as soon as they are available.

Good luck, and I hope that this issue is resolved quickly.  Please let us know if there is anything else we might assist you with.

Thanks
