Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to  the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The tool will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.

I can't seem to turn on Malware Protection

I suspect that AVG is the cause.
Execute the instructions on this page.
https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-1123

Restart the computer normally when done.

Let me know if the problem persists.

Hi,

Did you place the Fixlist.txt in the folder in bold and run the Farbar Fix?
Running from C:\Users\Jim\Downloads\Hardware Software

If the problem persists, please Move the Farbar program and the Fixlist.txt to your Desktop and run it from there.

How is the computer running?

Hi,

No I'm looking for the Fixlog.txt

Refer to post No. 2.

Did you download the fixlist.txt that is attached?

If not do it and place the file in the folder in bold.

C:\Users\Jim\Downloads\Hardware Software

Then run the Farbar program and click the fix button.

The Fixlog.txt will be created. Post it.

Hi,

I created a Fixlist.txt to remove all unnecessary entries.

When you execute the Fix then a FIXLOG.txt is generated by the program.

You would need to be trained as an helper to understand the process.

If you want to learn and help others apply to this Boot Camp.
