Why does MalwareBytes need Wintab?

Recommended Posts

I updated my malwarebytes program a little while ago, and since then I had been having issues with my Artisul on screen drawing tablet.

For weeks I have been trying to figure out why my tablet suddenly stopped working.

If you are unfamiliar with drawing tablets, they use wintab and their own drivers to make the tablet track your pen.

So back to the main subject. For WEEKS I have been trying to find out just why my tablet wouldn't work. I checked my peripherals, I checked my programs, I had checked everything besides uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it. I found a small tutorial from the manufacturer on what to uninstall and reinstall, it tells me to delete the wintab dll because the the drivers I install for my tablet will reinstall it as well, y'know, just in case there's something wrong with it. So I hunt down Wintab, I go to delete it. and *****ing MalwareBytes is using it.

Why does MalwareBytes need wintab?? I literally can't use it anymore because I can't use my tablet without wintab. I am just really disappointed honestly.
