Website blocked due to riskware when doing nothing

Recommended Posts

So i have Installed malwarebytes, its been 6 days using the trial. So the problem is this pops randomly every time for the last couple of days - Website blocked due to riskware - .This pops up sometimes when my pc is idle, sometimes when I am playing online games, sometimes browsing, sometimes watching movies etc. It's always this random IP that i don't know. This pops literally randomly and in the advance tab of the report where it shows what file it is,it shows nothing.I don't understand this. This triggers sometimes a single time, maybe sometimes 3 in a row, sometimes a single time and hours later 2 times. Its so random.
Please help me what this is,and pardon me for English and my lack of knowledge in this department.
Here is the long -

Greetings,

Since the connection is incoming (in other words from the outside), it is possible that you need to enable your firewall.  If you are not using a hardware router which includes a built in firewall then you should at least make sure that the Windows Firewall is turned on.  Instructions on how to do so may be found here.

If that does not fix the problem, then please open Malwarebytes and go to Settings>Protection and find the Scan Options section and change the Scan for rootkits setting to On:

Rootkits.png.1e8bc371c2ab2f54324f20a692f5196d.png

Once that is done, return to the Dashboard tab and click on the large Scan Now button located at the bottom:

Allow Malwarebytes to update and scan your system for threats and once it finishes, be sure to have it remove anything it detects and then restart your computer to complete the removal process if it asks you to do so.

If nothing was found or if the problem continues, please download ADWCleaner and use it to scan your computer and have it remove anything it finds, then restart again if asked to do so to complete the cleanup process.

If you still have the same problem with this blocked website after all of that, then please follow the instructions in this topic and then post the requested logs and information in a new topic in the malware removal area by clicking here and one of our malware removal specialists will help you to check and clean the system of any remaining infections.

Thank you very much. My firewall was already on so proceded to your next step which was scanning with "scan rootkits" on and detected about 6 threats. I haven't encountered any problem since. I think that was the issue, but who knows. Anyways thank you for the help.

Excellent, I'm glad that it worked.  If you would, please post the log from the scan.  I want to take a look just to see what the infection was causing all of this as such knowledge can aid us in helping others in the future.

Also, if you observe any further symptoms of infection you can always seek assistance in our malware removal area as instructed in my previous post.  They're always willing to help anyone in need of assistance with eliminating infections from PCs.
