libdl.dll trojan.wdfload.tsklnk

Recommended Posts

Hello!

mwbytes is the only av that detects this file. I think this might be a false positive, i'm not sure though. This file was in Shotcut directory, it is video editing software. Based on my google search I think this is some library for video editing.

Hey, I just discovered the same exact thing. Even created an account here just to reply to you. I also hope that this is a false positive, since Shotcut is an open source program and seems rather impossible for them to ship a trojan. If I let Malwarebytes delete this Shotcut doesn't start at all.

Thanks for reporting. It's a false positive and will be fixed in the next update.

@chas49

That should be fixed already. Can you try one more scan? It would be nice if you can zip and send the file to us. Thanks!

OK - will do that.  Just to clarify - are you asking for the log files in the zip, or the false positive dll file?

Thanks

Charles

DLL file. If it is not detected anymore, then you don't need to attach it.

Tested and it's no longer detected (update package version 1.0.5070) - the detection was in 5068, so it has been fixed.

Thanks for the help
