farisg Posted April 27, 2016 ID:1037101 Share Posted April 27, 2016 The problem is I scan for malware with Malwarebytes, then I hit the remove selected items button and everything is checked, and it will have to restart my computer. Then when I log back in and run Malwarebytes again the adware/malware is still there. Please help, thanks. If those items are Genieo files, the Genieo folks found a way to prevent us from deleting their files. We've fixed that now, and there's a beta available with that fix in place.
