redwolfe_98 Posted June 24, 2009 ID:92779 Share Posted June 24, 2009 i tried testing "malwarebytes", to see if it was functioning properly, on my computer, using the "eicar.com" test-file, and the "trojan simulator" files, but "malwarebytes" did not flag any of those test-files.. i think "malwarebytes" should add detection for the "eicar.com" test-file, so that people can test to see if the program is functioning properly (which is what the test files are intended for), and they could add detections for the "trojan simulator" files, as well.. GT500 Posted June 24, 2009 ID:92791 Share Posted June 24, 2009 We will detect Spycar, as it is meant for anti-spyware type applications. It also contains multiple tests. Their site appears to be down at the moment though.
Root Admin RubbeR DuckY Posted June 24, 2009 Root Admin ID:92872 Share Posted June 24, 2009 Unfortunately SpyCar seems to have disappeared off of the face of the earth. We are looking at adding a different simulator.
