I don't remember what it was I downloaded, but I opened it from having been saved in my download folder (Windows 7) and thought better bettter before running it.  I ran a full scan with malwarebytes and it quarantined PUP.OPTIONAL.OUTBROWSE related to this same user's account\AppData\Local\temp\DownloadManager.exe.  (I do scans daily, and have not downloaded anything for a number of days before.)

In my download folder, i deleted that which prompted the finding of this PUP.

It remains in my quarantine folder, not responding to my clicking on the DELETE button  !!

....Is this not normal, not being able to delete something from qauarantine ?

....Is the PUP effective while in the quarantine folder ?

....Is it possbile in someway to delete this PUP ?

I have malwarebytes PRO, and can get help related to DELETING if necessary, but am just asking these general questions.

...thank you in advance !
