Scorpionsaver.msi that cannot be uninstalled

Recommended Posts

First, I'd like to say that I did a full scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and most of the problems with Scorpionsaver have been removed and resolved. I had a lot of pop-ups and script errors prior to that, but not anymore. I also did a Adwcleaner scan and removed one more item. All of the pop up's have stopped.

The only problem that seems to be left is the Scorpionsaver.msi in 'Programs and Feature' that I cannot uninstall. This is what I get when I try to uninstall:

Followed up by this after I click 'OK':

From what I read on this forumt, I think that all I need is my own  Fixlist.txt for FRST but cannot figure out how to prepare one, OR if someone would have to prepare one for me. I would appreciate any help on this and apologies if I posted this in the wrong section or if I haven't read something before creating this topic.

I thought this could be resolved with FRST and a fixlist.txt as it was with this guy: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=137526

This seems rather complicated for such a simple issue. I already addressed that I did a full scan with Mawarebytes Anti-Malware, removed most of the Scorpionsaver and stopped the pop up's, did a scan with AdwCleaner as well. I followed those instructions from this thread: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=137526

and the only thing missing was FRST and a fixlist.txt that I didn't do.

This seems rather complicated for such a simple issue.
