Chrome error message

I have not been using Chrome for long.

Today I went on to my bank as I do every day and got a message the "webpage has a redirect loop" (see pic).

When I opened and read "More" it said that this webpage has too many redirects.

I have no idea what this is?

I removed the browsing history which made no difference.

I tried my bank with IE and it was just fine.

Can anyone help please?

hmmm ... maybe getting rid of chrome and using FF with IE as a last resort ?

i am not very knowledgeable about chrome (i have no need/use for it) .

We'll probably need to wait for a Chrome user to weigh in, but this seems to be a common, longstanding issue/bug with Chrome.

It was a bit worrying to have a redirect link on the bank but it does appear to be a routine issue with Chrome.

 

I found this one on Google which says just to remove cookies and that fixed it.
