  1. That correct Jean. It shows 61 in add and remove and 61 after the update from the database in latest news but if you check at about it will show 62.
  2. Just downloaded 0.62 from database. In add and remove still shows 0.61. If you click on about you will see the 0.62 is installed. Database version: 105 FingerPrints Loaded: 5218 OS running is Vista Ultimate. I'm going to uninstall and get the url link to install .062.
  3. Uninstall the older version first then uninstall 0.60. Then reinstall 0.60. That will take care of the problem.
  4. Ok after running MBAM for the first time all ran and worked well. I just tried to run again from desktop icon on XP and I get run-time error '380': Invalid property value.
  5. After updating to 0.60 don't forget to update again to download the latest database version 100.
  6. Can you not uncheck the harddrives that are selected?
  7. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. 250MHZ processor with at least 64mb of RAM. Windows 2000, NT, XP, or Vista. 3MB of available free space on hard drive. Internet access for updating definitions.
  8. Your topic has been moved to the correct forum. :~)

  12. Thanks for the report SaferNet4All. I will report this update error to Marcin.
  13. Joe, I think we should go this route if your system appears to be clean and not infected anymore. make a copy of you emails so you can restore them when you reinstall Office 2000. follow these directions here after making a backup be sure to save it on your system and note the location so you can reinstall the backup after you remove Office 2000 from the control panel in add and remove programs. even if you have any Office docs they will still be in place after you do a complete reinstall of Office 2000 and you want loose any of your docs or email.
  14. Joe, try running System File Checker. to do this go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in: sfc /scannow Note that there is a space after sfc. you will be promted for your Windows XP cd. just click on retry until it finishes. you might also think about posting a HIJackThis log. last resort would be to uninstall Outlook from add and remove. but be sure to make a copy of you emails so you can restore them when you reinstall Outlook. follow these directions here
  15. Thats not good Joe. :~( All I can suggest is to make sure your virus definitons are up to date and then scan system in safe mode. Maybe someone else can make some more suggestions to help.
  16. Try going back to safe mode and see if Outlook will open then Joe and post back.
  17. Thats ok... We will do it in safe mode and follow the directions above. After you do it in safe mode, Windows will reboot on its on. Also it will take a little time for safe mode to load, so be patient. here's a tutorial below in safe mode for XP. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/...al61.html#winxo
  18. just print out the page below http://www.windowsxphome.windowsreinstall....stemrestore.htm Be sure to choose a early date before the problem happened.
  19. Good to here that all is well now. :~)
  20. Try what I have and you will get all of them.
