I used their site a year ago to clean out and speed up my XP SP3 OS.. It was a great experience and I was really happy w/ their easy to follow 'how to' format.. Everything it said would happen - and how to proceed was exactly in every step... So i can recommend them for XP...
I have now upgraded to Vista SP2 and once again starting to get bogged-down from my 'Farmville' and 'Frontierville' Facebook apps six months later... I am wondering what anyone's latest experience has been with MajorGeeks using their instructions with our newer systems? (Vista and 7) Or if not recommended, then what other site seems to be tried and true?
Hi Susan,
Your computer should not be bogged down if you do regular maintenance. See exile360's topic HERE for a very good tutorial.
Best regards from another Canuck

I am very picky about who gets information from me. I do not trust trialpay, i spend enough time already keeping tracking cookies and such off my machine. I don't believe in free lunches, that's just me.
That being said, i have recommended MBAM to many hundreds of people and will continue to do so through MBAM/Cleverbridge.

Two old guys, one 80 and one 87, were sitting on their usual park bench one morning.
The 87 year old had just finished his morning jog and wasn't even short of breath.
The 80 year old was amazed at his friend's stamina and asked him what he did to have so much energy.
The 87 year old said, "Well, I eat rye bread every day.
It keeps your energy level high and you'll have great stamina with the ladies."
So, on the way home the 80 year old stops at the bakery.
As he was looking around, the lady asked if he needed any help.
He said "Do you have any Rye bread?"
She said, "Yes, there's a whole shelf of it . Would you like some?"
He said, "I want 5 loaves."
She said, "My goodness, 5 loaves ... By the time you get to the 3rd loaf, it'll be hard"
He replied, "I can't believe it, everybody knows about this stuff but me."

I suggest that some folks need to read THIS thoroughly.

My nephew is a top level IT guy. He often wears a T-shirt that says "NO i will not fix your computer".
I learned years ago that i could only ask him questions when there was nobody else around and the questions were straight forward, no theoretical ones because he knew i couldn't digest them.
As my knowledge grew i found that we could have conversations, in retrospect i don't blame him now
Dang board is lagging off and on this morning, took me 10 minutes to reply to a PM and 5 to post this.

Sometimes we Americans like to remind others we are proud of selfless actions, from the past like this, and such, that show we aren't the "Bad Guys" the modern world seems to always assume we are.
Since you don't care, why bother to make a comment?

Knowledge and gratitude are not rampant in this "all about me" age Steve. Those of us who served, still do, and or had parents who did, still remember and greatly respect those responsible for our freedom.

@ Whiskey Tango73
I wonder why you have posted the large image of this software that appears to be virtually unknown and untested by leading reviewers?

Never too old
My captain shattered his ankle twice a long time ago, he loved play soccer doctor said skating was good for the foot so now he plays hockey. He's sixty-five and wears a neck brace for extra protection. He's not the fastest out there but is a heads up player and can put the puck on your tape.
Good for him! I would not need a neck brace, just a new spine. Over 65 here and spinal stenosis along with the accompanying sciatica which was only slowed a bit by surgery makes it quite impossible. The internet is my "rink" now, no regrets, time is the best mellower

Gave up on watching the playoffs after my team let me down.
Have fun watching though
Been there, felt like that more than a few times. I am actually, from day one, an Oilers fan, having played up to nearly NHL level with Glen Sather, but couldn't quite make it back in the day.
I will pull for Vancouver though

Hello,
Can i use Malwarebytes pro (1.51.0.1200) and Norton Internet Security 2011 at same time in same pc.
Or do this slow down the computer or another problems ?
They always tell me "do not put 2 real time Security scanners at 1 pc"
I hope somebody can advise me.
Greetings Paul
Hello Paul,
Firefox has provided an excellent tutorial for you.
Regarding Norton internet security 2011, please keep in mind that most users have their own opinions about security products. I have used Norton internet security for several years now along with MBAM Pro and no slowing or problems encountered at all, nor have i had any virus or malware problems. I must add though that i am careful when online and do not tempt fate as some do because there is no anti virus program that is perfect.
Best regards
mbam new interface.
