  2. Or is this something I should consider taking to a computer shop to have analyzed?

Please do not bother to take the computer to a workshop (they charge you), we will fix it Free - :)

Now can you post back after the ideas from Firefox, and are you still having problems.

We will guide you through this step by step and have you up and running quickly - Norton causes problems with many programs -

    Thank You -

  3. First uninstall the program from Add/Remove or Programs and Features

The uninstall etc. given above is not usually required these days, just the MBAM clean.exe

I only added this so you would check it was removed from Add / Remove / Programs area -

ran a full scan in Safe Mode with MWB << Note that this will produce a log but rarely remove many infections.

Many / most infections are not available for removal as Safe Mode will only load basic information.

Once you have attempted to reinstall Malwarebytes, see below if infections mat be a cause -

  4. THE INEXPERIENCED CURRY TASTER

Notes From An Inexperienced Curry Taster Named FRANK, who was visiting from the U.S.

Recently I was honoured to be selected as a judge at a curry cook-off. The original person called in sick at the last moment and I happened to be standing there at the judge’s table asking directions to the beer wagon when the call came.

I was assured by the other two judges (couple of local Indians) that the curry wouldn’t be all that spicy, and besides, they told me I could have free beer during the tasting, so I accepted.

Here are the scorecards from the event:

    ———————————–

Curry # 1: Manoj’s Maniac Mobster Monster Curry

JUDGE ONE: A little too heavy on tomato. Amusing kick.

JUDGE TWO: Nice, smooth tomato flavour. Very mild.

FRANK: What is this stuff? You could remove dried paint from your driveway. Took me two beers to put the flames out. I hope that’s the worst one.

    __________________________________________

    Curry # 2: Applesamy’s Afterburner Curry

JUDGE ONE: Smoky, with a hint of pork. Slight Jalapeno tang.

JUDGE TWO: Exciting BBQ flavour, needs more peppers to be taken seriously.

FRANK: Keep this out of reach of children! I’m not sure what I’m supposed to taste besides pain. I had to wave off two people who wanted to give me the Heimlich manoeuvre. They had to rush in more beer when they saw the look on my face.

    ___________________________________________

Curry # 3: Farouk’s Famous Burn Down the Barn curry

JUDGE ONE: Excellent firehouse curry! Great kick. Needs more beans.

JUDGE TWO: A beanless curry, a bit salty, good use of red peppers.

FRANK: Call Colesburg, I’ve located a uranium spill. My nose feels like I have been snorting Draino. Everyone knows the routine by now, get me more beer before I ignite. Barmaid pounded me on the back; now my backbone is in the front part of my chest. I’m getting

    ???-faced from all the beer.

    _________________________________________

    Curry # 4: Barbu’s Black Magic

JUDGE ONE: Black bean curry with almost no spice. Disappointing.

JUDGE TWO: Hint of lime in the black beans. Good side dish for fish or other mild foods, not much of a curry.

FRANK: I felt something scraping across my tongue, but was unable to taste it, is it possible to burn-out taste buds? Savathree, the bar maid, was standing behind me with fresh refills; that 300 lb. barmaid is starting to look HOT, just like this nuclear waste I’m eating. Is curry an aphrodisiac?

    ___________________________________________

    Curry # 5: Laveshnee’s Legal Lip Remover

JUDGE ONE: Meaty, strong curry. Cayenne peppers freshly ground, adding considerable kick. Very impressive.

JUDGE TWO: Curry using shredded beef; could use more tomato. Must admit the cayenne peppers make a strong statement.

FRANK: My ears are ringing, sweat is pouring off my forehead and I can no longer focus my eyes. I farted and four people behind me needed paramedics. The contestant seemed offended when I told her that her curry had given me brain damage. Savathree saved my tongue from bleeding by pouring beer directly on it from a pitcher. I wonder if I’m burning my lips off? It really pisses me off that the other judges asked me to stop screaming.

    ___________________________________________

    Curry # 6: Vera’s Very Vegetarian Variety

JUDGE ONE: Thin yet bold vegetarian variety curry. Good balance of spice and peppers.

JUDGE TWO: The best yet. Aggressive use of peppers, onions, and garlic. Superb.

FRANK: My intestines are now a straight pipe filled with gaseous, sulfuric flames. I shat myself when I farted and I’m worried it will eat through the chair. No one seems inclined to stand behind me except that barmiad Savathree, she must be kinkier than I thought. Can’t feel my lips anymore. I need to wipe my ass with a snow cone!

    _____________________________________________

    Curry # 7: Sugash’s Screaming Sensation Curry

JUDGE ONE: A mediocre curry with too much reliance on canned peppers.

JUDGE TWO: Ho Hum, tastes as if the chef literally threw in a can of curry peppers at the last moment. I should note that I am worried about Judge Number 3. He appears to be in a bit of distress as he is cursing uncontrollably.

FRANK: You could put a grenade in my mouth, pull the pin, and I wouldn’t feel damn thing. I’ve lost the sight in one eye, and the world sounds like it is made of rushing water. My shirt is covered with curry which slid unnoticed out of my mouth. My pants are full of lava-like excrement to match. At least during the autopsy they’ll know what killed me. I’ve decided to stop breathing, it’s too painful. Screw it, I’m not getting any oxygen anyway. If I need air, I’ll just suck it in through the 4 inch hole in my stomach. ____________________________________________

    Curry # 8: Hansraj’s Mount Saint Curry

JUDGE ONE: A perfect ending, this is a nice blend curry, safe for all, not too bold but spicy enough to declare its existence.

JUDGE TWO: This final entry is a good, balanced curry, neither mild nor hot. Sorry to see that most of it was lost when Judge Number 3 passed out, fell over and pulled the curry pot down on top of himself. Not sure if he’s going to make it. Poor Yank, wonder how he’d have reacted to a really hot curry?

    JUDGE THREE: No score noted..........

  5. Hi -

Please read the linked FAQ page - http://forums.malwar...ndpost&p=162100

•I received a notification on a safe site, why?

•If a notification is presented on a safe site, and the site loads, it is likely the site was loading content that is hosted on an IP known for malicious activity. In this case, the site itself will be displayed perfectly fine, with the malicious content being blocked. If however, the site does not load, it is likely the site is also hosted on the same malicious IP address. It is also entirely possible that the site in question, shares it's IP address with other malicious domains. IP's and IP ranges are blocked if they are either dedicated to malicious content, or have a higher proportion of malicious content, than non-malicious. So for example, if 1.2.3.4 contains 1000 sites and over 50% are malicious, then 1.2.3.4 will be blocked (and even then, if we can get the hosting company to take down the malicious sites, then even better as we do not like blocking shared IP's or IP ranges if we don't have to).

    •How do I disable this?

•We wouldn't recommend disabling it, but if you must, you can do this by right clicking the MBAM tray icon, and unchecking Website Blocking.

You can also use the two options in the Protection tab of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to disable the website blocker from starting when the protection module starts or simply to disable the tooltip balloon notifications when a malicious site is blocked.

    Thank You -

  6. For all you music lovers, this might be worth saving to your desktop or favourites.

This must have taken ages to put this together.

Wait for the images of the artists to appear, click on one you like, and you can hear and watch them perform.

You might also type any artist's name or any song in the search box and ......... been playing for hours -

    ENJOY!

The first 2 IP's 127.0.0.1 are just your own Modem address and not an outside number

Both the other numbers are related to

    Sunnyvale in United States

    98.138.5.227

    Country: United States

    Region: California

    City: Sunnyvale

    Postal Code: 94089

    ISP: "Yahoo!"

Niether of them seem to be odd in any way :)

Nothing suspect in those numbers at all -

  10. Hi Bobc8 -

Hate to post over Firefox, but ..........

Have you looked in Control Panel, either Add / Remove or Programs and Features to find the version of Java installed ??

I did have quite a few problems with the latest Java, but we finally worked this out -

    Regards -

  11. Hello and Welcome -

Please read the FAQ link below if you are having any problems with M.S.E. and Malwarebytes > Section I -

    http://forums.malwar...post&pid=181018

This is very unusual, as many members use MSE as their preferred Antivirus program without problems.

I have used both for several years now and never had any problems.

Just make sure that when you schedule the daily scans, that they are at least 2 hours apart -

    Thank You -

  12. Never Make a Woman Angry

A woman arrived at the Gates of Heaven. While she was waiting for Saint Peter to greet her, she peeked through the gates and saw a beautiful banquet table.

Sitting all around were her parents and all the other people she had loved and who had died before her.

They saw her and began calling greetings to her, "Hello. How are you! We've been waiting for you! Good to see you."

When Saint Peter came by, the woman said to him,

"This is such a wonderful place! How do I get in?"

"You have to spell a word," Saint Peter told her.

    "Which word?" the woman asked.

    "Love."

The woman correctly spelled "Love" and Saint Peter welcomed her into Heaven.

About a year later, Saint Peter came to the woman and asked her to watch the Gates of Heaven for him that day.

While the woman was guarding the Gates of Heaven, her husband arrived.

"I'm surprised to see you," the woman said. "How have you been?"

"Oh, I've been doing pretty well since you died," her husband told her.

"I married the beautiful young nurse who took care of you while you were ill. And then I won the multi-state lottery.

I sold the little house you and I lived in and bought a huge mansion. And my wife and I traveled all around the world.

We were on vacation in Cancun and I went water skiing today. I fell and hit my head, and here I am.

What a bummer! How do I get in?"

"You have to spell a word," the woman told him.

    "Which word?" her husband asked.

    Moral of the story:

Never make a woman angry . . . there will be Hell to pay!

  13. Hi -

First - Can you disable your Comodo Internet Security Premium while you set your MBAM scanning features

Next - Can you make sure that any active scans being run by Comodo Internet Security do not conflict with your MBAM schedule

Your scans from both these programs need to be set at least 2 hours apart so there is no conflict with either of them

There was a problem with running both these 2 programs together, but I thought it was now fixed at both ends.

The Quick Scan from MBAM is the one that will remove all active infections while a Full scan is usually to clean left-overs

I would still advise you to submit a ticket to Consumer Support for any exact details that may still exist with Comodo v MBAM

This can be done with the Bottom link I have left above, and the developers will give you further support there -

    Thank You -

  14. Hello perz -

  15. Microsoft Security Essentials is bad!!! Trust mee man Emsisoft is no1 in the world.

    PAID Software definitly

Please note that these are only the personal views of Stalker90. Many people here use Microsoft Security Essentials as their preferred Antivirus.

For a few years I have used it on several computers from XP to Windows7 and have personally found it is very good.

I have never used a paid Antivirus, but paid Malwarebytes Anti-Malware works with almost any Antivirus on the market Free or Paid.

Please read the above post from AdvancedSetup if you think you are infected, otherwise You select an A/virus that suits your needs -

    Thank You -
