  1. Used the first comment on the link sent, found it to be a file in the "On Startup" page in settings, after deleting it Malwarebytes showed no threats. Here is the recent scan, if you still need it: scan.txt And the scan that originally showed the PUPs: scan 2.txt (Adwclean scans) Thank you in advance, especially if this is solved.
  2. Malwarebytes scan: tt.txt Adwcleaner scan that found something: # AdwCleaner 7.0.5.0 - Logfile created on Sat Dec 16 00:46:45 2017 # Updated on 2017/29/11 by Malwarebytes # Database: 12-15-2017.1 # Running on Windows 10 Home (X64) # Mode: scan # Support: https://www.malwarebytes.com/support ***** [ Services ] ***** No malicious services found. ***** [ Folders ] ***** No malicious folders found. ***** [ Files ] ***** PUP.Optional.Legacy, C:\END PUP.Optional.Legacy, C:\Users\Tyler\Downloads\uninstaller.exe ***** [ DLL ] ***** No malicious DLLs found. ***** [ WMI ] ***** No malicious WMI found. ***** [ Shortcuts ] ***** No malicious shortcuts found. ***** [ Tasks ] ***** No malicious tasks found. ***** [ Registry ] ***** No malicious registry entries found. ***** [ Firefox (and derivatives) ] ***** No malicious Firefox entries. ***** [ Chromium (and derivatives) ] ***** No malicious Chromium entries. ************************* ########## EOF - C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[S0].txt ########## Newest Adwcleaner scan: # AdwCleaner 7.0.5.0 - Logfile created on Sat Dec 16 05:57:35 2017 # Updated on 2017/29/11 by Malwarebytes # Database: 12-15-2017.1 # Running on Windows 10 Home (X64) # Mode: scan # Support: https://www.malwarebytes.com/support ***** [ Services ] ***** No malicious services found. ***** [ Folders ] ***** No malicious folders found. ***** [ Files ] ***** No malicious files found. ***** [ DLL ] ***** No malicious DLLs found. ************************* C:/AdwCleaner/AdwCleaner[C0].txt - [1173 B] - [2017/12/16 0:53:14] C:/AdwCleaner/AdwCleaner[S0].txt - [1012 B] - [2017/12/16 0:46:45] C:/AdwCleaner/AdwCleaner[S1].txt - [1081 B] - [2017/12/16 1:1:17] ########## EOF - C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[S2].txt ########## FRST Scan: FRST.txt
  3. EDIT: Found PUP.Optional.Binkiland again in malwarebytes scan.
  4. Alright, i was doing the usual, gaming on my PC while malwarebytes was scanning in the background, when i get a popup that says it found one virus. I looked, it said it found a file called "PUP.Optional.binkiland". I immediately quarantine, delete, and do a bit of research. I found that it was adware.. which was surprising to me as i had not been getting any popups or changes in browser behavior. I followed some guides on removal, using adwcleaner, it found two more files, called "PUP.Optional.Legacy". I did some research on that, found only a guide to delete it. It told me to scan with adwcleaner, which i had already done, and scan with hitman pro, which returned no threats. So, my question is, what should i do in proceeding? Could it be a false positive? Remember, i had no signs of adware before this. Thank you for reading.
