  1. MalwareByte has detect a Malware (see Nom et Date.jpg file) and ( DirCoupable.jpg file) for the directory. MalwareByte respond as expected by putting it in Quarantaine. Wich is perfect and why of MalwareByte gives me a good sens of security. Doing so the menace seem so harmfull that it looks like MalwareByte shootdown my internet connection and had to reboot the computer, the modem, and the router. My question. Wich FF67.0.2 extension caused this action and is it a non-compatible extension with MalwareByte. My goal is to remove the proper extension? Thank you for your help
  2. So I've recently decided to install Malwarebytes to scan my computer for threats after being an idiot and not having it installed in the first place years ago. It quarantined/removed a lot of malware that I wasn't aware I had, with the exception of one labelled "PUP.Optional.SearchManager.BITSRST" which is located in my Secure Preferences folder for Google Chrome. When I repeatedly scanned my computer to try to quarantine it, it keeps telling me I have 12 threats labelled "PUP.Optional.SearchManager.BITSRST", and keeps saying that all of them are removed except for the same one that Malwarebytes kept failing to remove. However despite all this and even prior to installing Malwarebytes, I have not noticed anything unusual going on my computer and I do not see the Search Manager extension in Chrome as I removed it years ago from Chrome. Should I be concerned these threats as I otherwise use my computer just fine? If so, what steps should I take to ensure that I am completely FREE of any threats? Thanks in advance for answering my questions. The images attached to this post are my first and latest reports.
  3. Hi. I have high ram usage at times, I mean 70-90% and I think it's connected to malware and Malwarebytes can't pick it up, but when my windows has been up and running for few hours, it shows 2 malware threats are detected, but even if I quarantine them and delete them, nothing works, they just keep coming back. I have also tried to use ADW cleaner multiple times without any luck too since it's all come back a few minutes after windows has loaded. One thing to note is that Chrome is only using 4-5 GB of ram which is okay, but the task manager shows over 70% even at sometimes 90% so there might be something running in the background which is hidden. I really hope we can fix this since this really destroys my PC experience and I can't wait to get down to bussines. Thank you. FRST.txt Addition.txt
  4. i have this problem and can not find it with regedit but scan found it and blocked it what is it and do i need to do more than quarantine it? AdwCleaner[S0].txt
  5. Alright, i was doing the usual, gaming on my PC while malwarebytes was scanning in the background, when i get a popup that says it found one virus. I looked, it said it found a file called "PUP.Optional.binkiland". I immediately quarantine, delete, and do a bit of research. I found that it was adware.. which was surprising to me as i had not been getting any popups or changes in browser behavior. I followed some guides on removal, using adwcleaner, it found two more files, called "PUP.Optional.Legacy". I did some research on that, found only a guide to delete it. It told me to scan with adwcleaner, which i had already done, and scan with hitman pro, which returned no threats. So, my question is, what should i do in proceeding? Could it be a false positive? Remember, i had no signs of adware before this. Thank you for reading.
  6. I've gone through various threads and sequences of using Malwarebytes, adwcleaner and hitman pro along with chrome cleanup and this PUP still reappears. I've booted into safe mode and used adwcleaner and then reboot and clean, still nothing permanently removes this thing... suggestions?? I don't even use Chrome on that computer (it's installed, but I never use it for anything). Any help would be appreciated!
  8. Addition.txt FRST.txt mbamlog-568.txt Have removed registry entries and quarantined several times. It scans great for 3 days and then they are back. User stated "little black window" flashes on the screen from time to time. I've not witnessed the behavior myself. We have 2 machines with identical issues. Help is sincerely appreciated.
