  1. My computer is doing fine; no problems to report Thanks for your time
  2. Yesterday, MBAM's exploit protection blocked what appeared to be an exploit from the command prompt. I know this is no longer a threat to my computer, but I was wondering what could've caused this to occur. There do not appear to be any other problems, but I just want to make sure of that. I have the exploit report, as well as the other necessary files produced via the advanced tab of Malwarebytes Support tool because I've used the tool previously. I did not use clean repair. To the person who helps, thank you for your time. mbst-grab-results.zip Exploit report.txt
  3. I have the attached fixlog below. There doesn't appear to be anymore problems regarding the browser. Fixlog.txt
  4. Quick note: I just realized that I apparently forgot to enter in the one remaining license key I had from my Malwarebytes premium license. It is activated now.
  5. I was on www.slickdeals.net and my browser was redirected to what appeared to be a "congratulations, you've won" type scam. The Malwarebytes scan didn't find anything, but I want to check to see if there may be malware lurking on my computer. I have the MBAM scan, FRST, and Addition logs below. MBAM scan.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  6. I added Malwarebytes Browser Guard to Firefox
  7. Quick question about Malwarebytes Browser Guard: I already have uBlock Origin on Firefox. Can I have both uBlock Origin and MBG on Firefox without conflicts between the two extensions? Malwarebytes Report 10-7.txt
  8. A website I visited (www.juventus.com) triggered a blocked outbound trojan warning, and I just realized that a couple weeks ago, Malwarebytes blocked a firefox exploit. I tried to download FRST but Windows Defender is claiming that the file contains a trojan itself. I just want to check to make sure that my PC is not infected, and if it is, to quickly resolve it. Exploit Report.txt Website blocked.txt
  9. Ok, I will do that. Thank you for the help, Maurice Have a great day!
  10. No, the computer with the dead motherboard won't turn on at all.
  11. The motherboard of one of my computers is busted and it was using Malwarebytes premium. Would I be able to transfer the premium license to another computer?
  12. Yep, that worked well. Everything appears to be back to normal
  13. Hi! Today, I turned on my phone and it repeatedly (2 or 3 times said "unfortunately, malwarebytes anti-malware has stopped). It was in the middle of me playing Madden Mobile. This has never happened to me before. I uninstalled MBAM Mobile, turned my phone off, turned it back on and reinstalled it. Same result, even when I wasn't playing any games. Madden Mobile is the only game on my phone is a Motorola Moto E. I've temporarily switched to ESET until the problem is resolved. I'll update this thread if the problem goes away. Thanks, Michael
  14. Hi JoelS. To add to what GeoNez said, this article from Malwarebytes Labs might answer why the pop-up happened and how to avoid it. https://blog.malwarebytes.com/cybercrime/2016/10/mobile-menace-monday-youve-been-infected-or-have-you/
  15. Joyeux Noël à tout le monde à Malwarebytes! (Merry Christmas to everyone at Malwarebytes!) Hopefully I used the right French words; I used WordReference for help.
  16. Oh OK Thank you @nukecad. I use uBlock Origin as my adblocker, so that advertisement you mentioned was probably blocked, right?
  17. @CliffS, that is one fantastic wallpaper you have there!
  18. When I updated CCleaner earlier, I updated it using https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard . Also, is Filehippo considered a safe website? I don't download software from it, or any other third-party sites, but I just want to make sure that it's safe because it has had mixed reviews from people. One of VirusTotal's scanning engines says "Malware site" but the other 67 say "clean." Is that a false positive on the part of that one scanning engine?
  19. Hi all, I have a question about CCleaner updates. When I went to update CCleaner today, I was on https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download, but when I clicked "download" it took me to filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ instead of https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard. About 5 minutes later, I went back to https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download, clicked download again and was taken to the right place, mentioned above. Is there something malicious about the two websites, or is it because I tried to update CCleaner from its interface instead of going directly to www.piriform.com and going to the "download" section? When I originally downloaded CCleaner, I downloaded it from https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/standard . https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/d35b47a62f474f1b0892d98ef4b1d4f13550b5733ec67c21a566ec86e36f5bfe/analysis/ <-- Filehippo https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/0ea925777abe7e9fd3d2992031afe1807e9bd7984c1cc0f249f76a1ca1d254ce/analysis/ <--Piriform Thanks, Michael Happy Holidays, Everyone!
  20. Is this PC more at risk to malware threats if these errors are not fixed, or will it just interfere with the performance of the PC? Other than the on-and-off loud noise from the cooling fan, this PC runs normally. Please let me know if there's anything else that needs to be done after looking at the updated logs. If not, you can close this topic and I'll move on to the General PC help section when I have the chance to do so, as this will be my last post here. I will delete FRST and its logs after posting this. I'll PM you if I have any other questions. Again, thank you for your help @AdvancedSetup Regards, Michael P.S. I apologize for dragging this topic out 5 posts after I said that it would be my last post here
