  1. Does MB protect against the latest variant of AdLoad malware? It is not detected by Apple XProtect
  2. Thanks Mieke, I re ran the scan and it did not pick up MacDrive this time.
  3. Malwarebytes v4.2.1 Premium is running on my PC (Win10Pro x64 latest build). All fine until this morning scan when AMB flagged my MacDrive10 installer package as malware. Why? I've attached the text file generated by AMB. malwareFound.txt
  4. Thanks for idea. I've not heard of this issue with Win10, can you point me to any links or articles so I can research please? It does seem some other software has also gone missing.
  5. Ok I can do that but what very much concerns me is why? Was I attacked in some way? I certainly did nothing to the computer, did not uninstall, etc. All traces of the product are gone, including all directories, etc.
  6. Help! Malwarebytes completely disappeared from my system. Empty folder, full search of disk shows no files or applications at all. Nothing was done, updated, etc. Windows10 x64, latest version and patches.
  7. Running Windows10 Pro x64, MBAM service is continually using excessive amounts of both RAM (1-2GB on average) and CPU (20-40% of cycles.) This has a large adverse effect on my system. Why and what can be done? Restart does not help, usage peaks again after a few minutes.
  8. Hi, I ran the tool, file attached. In the time it took for your reply I was reading further on the forum, it suggested a clean uninstall and reinstall. I did that, and, with some issues (noted below) AMB now appears to be functioning. Firstly – with reinstall of AMB main app: the first thing it does is “check for updates” – exactly where the original app crashed every time. This new install took over 10 minutes to finally get past this step. I have no other connectivity issues, and am on an extremely fast connection (1Gbps) so either it’s an update server issue or something in the software build or interaction with Windows?? Maybe you can see something in the logs… CheckResults.txt
  9. Help! I'm trying to update a legitimate application (legacy.exe), and MB keeps quarantining it. Even with protection set to "OFF" the update exe is quarantined every time. I have no way to install or update the desired application, unless I suppose I completely uninstall MB and then reinstall... this is a rather painful method?? Windows10, x64 version 1.0.0
  10. I have just upgraded to Windows10 and Anti-Malware Bytes Premium crashes every time. The app won't run at all. It comes up warning of "Not Protected". The FIX NOW button is unresponsive, but the SCAN NOW button works. It goes off and tries to check for updates - and crashes after 5 sec. This is completely repeatable, reboot does not help. Appears this app is now dead. Any ideas?
  11. Just upgraded iTunes on Win7Ultimate x64 to 12.4.2.4 and now AMB will not start. Pressing "FIX" button doesn't do anything, neither does pressing START. Reboot does not help, program appears dead. Running version 0.9.16.484
