Please Help a newbie

If your PC is infected, and something is using up alot of resources...then when the Screen Saver kicks on (which pulls alot of resources and can cripple a scan) then it is going to lock up. Do like I said and try 1 more time B) -

I agree Kenny. I used it on a test machine and it messed it up B) FOR THE SCREENSAVER. Right click on your desktop and click PROPERTIES on the Screen Saver tab set it to NONE Click APPLY now run the scan. If you want, reverse that second step to return it after you ran the scan. -

After being at MRU for a short time, I got a good idea... When ever you turn in "homework" there, when you look at the forum where you post it, you can only see the ones that you have posted. I am assuming that all teachers, admin, mod, etc... can see ALL of them...I think that this would be an AWESOME way to setup the HJT threads to help prevent people from GETTING/GIVING advice in them. i.e. People trying to fix there pc by using the same techniques in the logs. A new guy giving advice in the HJT threads without knowing he isn't allowed to post in there. I know it may not already be wrote into the software, but I think this would be an AWESOME thing to setup...eventually....anyone else AT LEAST agree with me that this is a notable idea?

Electrobrandino replied to Silverwings1991's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
and if that is indeed the case...I hope you didnt pay for it.... B) EDIT: Just by googling Malware Bot, AVAST pops up saying it blocked an attempt to connect to Malwarebot.com or something like that... I think its safe to say that is part of your problems right there...I would say post over in the Hijack this forum.....just my 2 cents. -

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Malware Bot ITSELF a rogue? I think you have more infections than you think... -
Thanks for the kind words toward the site mizeddie. Yes, have her download the programs and post them up in the HJT area. Someone will get her taken care of! I bet that this teenager also frequents myspace and facebook too? sad really
