As the topic states, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Its good that you are alert Mike. If you ever do notice something amiss and you cant remove it, you know where to come B)
-
LOL That's what I meant...only in more detail B)
-
The only stupid question is one not asked B) That seems normal to me. Malwarebytes was designed to catch specific infections, and to do it in a specific way. Spybot and Ad-Aware always catch little things... Malwarebytes wont because it is looking for certain things...kind of like a bounty hunter...It only hunts things it is supposed to. Everything else is a waste of its time
-
LOL thats even better!
-
he kinda reminds me of THIS guy LOL He just has a bit more fight in him.... B)

Nosirrah.....can I use language now?! ROFL Fight the urge...fight the urge...

Failure to detect TDSServ
Electrobrandino replied to Quitch's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
I've been reading your little walkthroughs Ade, VERY GOOD JOB B) The only way I was aware of removing things like this was slaving the HDD and scanning from another PC...that usually works. But this I THINK would save some time! THANKS! -
IF an expert requests that you post a log in the HJT forums, then it is safe. Only some info may be gathered from the log, such as what profile your logged in under, and stuff like that, but nothing like your IP address and such are generated in the logs. PROBABLY the worst thing someone could gather from logs would be seeing what App's people are using most...and use that knowledge for evil....but that's about it. NOW, if you do Illegal things on the PC, and use illegal software, then NO, its not safe lol. Posting the logs helps in many ways, it helps the helper to figure out your problems, and at the same time, provides others that are training with valuable knowledge. ANYONE- Correct me if I'm wrong B)

ok i get the point, it was an idea that was spur of the moment, and I just thought to bring it up lol

I posted my 2 cents to some of the SLOWER guys who commented in the PC mag forums... Some people are really dumb.... I wonder if this guy even read the title of the program he was running? OBVIOUSLY he was infected PRIOR to his searching, and has been redirected to an improper program...I don't know about you, but If I ever download an unknown program, I usually look to make sure it is really what I downloaded...or if I download something that's called MALWAREBYTES and the installer is titled AV360.exe im not gonna run it.. some people...lol
-
that wouldnt be bad...maybe if people are studying under a school or something like that, there could be a rank just for them...that wouldnt be a bad idea at all..then that rank and up can see in the HJT and no one new or not studying can see... is that a better idea? see, thats what this thread is for

Help need help with internet access.
Electrobrandino replied to Gabranthx's topic in General Windows PC Help
They said they already tried resetting winsock..... ALSO If there IP info was incorrect, then they would not have been able to ping websites. Go to the HJT area. Even if your not infected, an EXPERT will assist you and help to figure out what is going on. Either way, you win!
