My OS is windows 7 64 bit Avast free version Antivirus zonealarm pro paid version

When getting directions on Google maps I received an alert from my anti virus that the web page did not provide any identity information. I would think that Google would. So I tried Yahoo directions I did not get an alert and the directions were different. I have not made my trip yet but I am going with the yahoo directions. For what its worth I am dealing with the issue below unsuccessfully at this time I might add. Could these 2 issues be related?

My OS on the second pc is windows XP Pro service pacxk 2 Avast free version Antivirus zonealarm pro paid version

I have strongly suspected that my privacy hsd been

compromised for the last 3 years. Now I no longer suspect I know it to be a

fact. My X husband gave me a disc with some pictures and videos what I did not

realize until I got the Zonealarm firewall was that he put a keylogger on the

disc as well as viruses and PUP's (potentially unwanted programs . My computer

was giving me a lot of trouble so in an attempt to fix it I uninstalled my OS

which was xp home and did a clean install of XP pro. Downloaded a different

antivirus and purchased a new firewall previuos was Microsoft security essential

(terrible).

So I put that disc he gave me when adding all of my other pictures and videos

back to my computer. Zonealarm alerts me if I let this program access my PC it

will attach a keylogger and have registry access. I was tired not payong

attention and hit the wrong key and granted it access. I was not to worried as I

also installed Norton Ghost and partioned all program files and my documents

into my D drive incase of any trouble my plan was to wipe everything out which

only takes a few minutes with the Norton ghost and all my data would be safe in

the d drive. Which it still is. But I still am infected with the items listed

below. The clean install did not rermove them and my Antivirus cant scan them

because the files are password protected and encrypted. Avast wont help me

because its the free version

I was going to attach my Avast logs but am unable to do so not sure why though

so I will try to recreate the logs.

All problems are in my D:/ Programs drive

PuP win 32 gen

Decompression bombs

Adobemc3 keygen was found before the clean install I dont know if its in any of

these files or if its gone

Currrent scan all are archived encrypted and password protected and cant be

scanned.

Ahead/Nero 7.10.1.0>eng_full.exe cab root FEAA0A71.img.root image

spyware aawseepersonal.exe Main dir% skins adware se defaultnask

adware SE default.skin

there are 32 more spyware types that arer .bmp's of various types such as

glyph, bt53 31 through 62 defbtn checkbox sprite1.bmp and main.bmp

My Pc is very slow to delete a single picture takes 60 seconds I am able to get

online but its so slow why bother.

I look forward to your reply

Hello, and Welcome to Malwarebytes

  • Option 2 —— Paying customer -- Contact Support via email
  • Option 3 —— Premium, Fee-Based Support

OPTION 1

As we don't deal with malware removal in the
General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum
, you need to start a topic in the
Malware Removal forum
so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

  • Please read and follow the
, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a
    .

  • After posting your new post, make sure under
    options
    , you select
    Track this topic
    and choose
    Immediate Email Notification
, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.

  • One of the
there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

  • Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer such as (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine.

NOTE:
Please DO NOT post back to (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours.

Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post.
    • If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again.

      Or

    • You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance.
