The website www.koyotesoft.com is blocked. I own several of their titles and they are listed at CNET. Probably millions of computers run their software. It seems unlikely that they are evil.

I asked Koyotesoft about this and didn't get a response. One of their programs was communicating on the net and I don't know why or what it was doing, so I deleted every Koyote application on my machine. Maybe MWB is killing them for no good reason, or maybe there is a reason. Why did they get listed? You can't just arbitrarily block somebody, and then say "oops, we bad", they be unblocked now. Let's have the facts.

I'd like to comment on this one.

Last night, I was looking for a file to burn a file into a DVD. Since I have been using Free Mp3 Wma Converter from Koyotesoft.com before, I decided to give their Free Easy CD DVD Burner a try. To my surprise, the file I downloaded was a downloader instead of the installer right away. Since I have been using one of their products for a long time, I trusted it.

To my surprise, it installed this searchqudtx.dll. My WinPatrol keeps detecting the program saying that it wants to add itself in my IE's toolbar or something. I keep on denying it of course at first but since it keeps asking it, I finally gave it but not before I disabled IE in my Windows 7.

Before that, I uninstalled the Free Burner but my ThreatFire is detecting the uninstaller to put a program in my startup programs or something like that.

In other words, Koyotesoft.com is evil. Try it yourselves guys to see whether I'm telling the truth or not.

I used Koyotesoft Free FLV Convertor at first and as it worked ok I got the paid version this worked for some time then upgrades came out and it would not function correctly more upgrades and it worked again next upgrade not working again latest version wont search says invalid sarch term for every term I use.

Tried to contact Koyotesoff no answer is there actually anyone there?

All I havenow is a junk programe that does not work.

Gave up now using a free downloader.

Yeah Koyotesoft is a bad service. As soon as I got to the site I got Adware but luckly Avast saved me. ( < This does not mean I don't use Malwarebytes... because I have used Malwarebytes for a long time :P) The files you install have viruses, adware, etc. Don' believe what some others say beacuse normally the have bad anti-virus or anti-malware.
