Google Redirect Virus - I think...

Help! I think I have a spin-off of the Google redirect virus. It will not even allow me to run the MalwareBytes program or HJT. I get a popup that says 'Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.'

What can I do?

Please do the following:

• Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your Desktop.
  
  • DDS.com
    
  • DDS.scr
    
  • DDS.pif
    

  NOTE: Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed

  There shouldn't be any scheduled antivirus scans running while the scan is being performed.

  Do not use your computer for anything else during the scan.

  [*]Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.

  [*]A small box will open, with an explanation about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.

  [*]Notepad will open with the results.

  [*]Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.

  [*]Close the program window, and delete the program from your Desktop.

• Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
  
• A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
