Hello, and thank you for reviewing my thread. I am currently trying to solve an issue with my friends PC. I cannot run any anti malware/spyware programs (Stinger, MBAM, Spyware S&D, AVG, Dr Web Cureit, HJT etc.)I have tried accessing Non Plug and Play drivers to locate TDSSSERV.SYS or anything like it but have come up empty.I am getting symptoms of TDSSERV.SYS Rootkit infection. (Google redirect, programs not working, administrative rights not working etc.)I have searched and searched, with no avail. Even have my USB Bootable version of Hirens Boot CD 2010, nothing I tried worked - Except for Spybot S&D, although severely outdated it did remove 8 Rootkit infections, 2 Antivirus/Firewall disable infections. Didn't make any difference.Have found Antiviru/Antivirus.Evt manually in C:\WINDOWS\system 32\config - Antivirus 2010 related? The fake antivirus doesn't seem active on his PCIf you require any more information I have forgotten to include - please tell me and I will post it.Many thanks!
