Question on obtaining logs from an infected computer

This may be a silly question -- but I've been reading through the instructions and don't particularly see an answer. My computer is infected with the "System Tool" virus. It's preventing me from getting on line. Is there an easy/obvious way to get the logs from the infected computer to the computer I'm using now? Would it be dangerous to put them on a flash drive and move them to my other computer?

Yes it can potentially be dangerous and infect your other computer. Please do not use a USB stick between computers unless directed to by someone assisting you in detection and removal.
