Win XP stuck with MLB at start-up

Hello everybody,

If I allow to be loaded MLB at start up, the computer get stuck.

I have to start MLB after windows xp has started.

I have the real time version.

I see that during the start up MLB is the first program that appear in the system tray, so I'm wondering how to make MLB upload at the end of all programs, I'm sure that the problem will be fixed.

• OS version including 32/64-bit (Win XP)
  
• Installed Security Product(s) including Firewall and Program Versions (Anti-Virus?)
  
• MBAM version (current 1.50.1.1100) (Free or Pro)
  
• Definition version (current 5561)
  

You may have to just add exceptions into your anti-virus program, but we need to know what version so we can give you the right instructions....

To add exclusions to Est Anti-Virus

Note: Once that's done, please make sure that if either of those programs has any sort of web filter, that you add the following as a trusted site:

Well it is not a problem of conflict with NOD32 because I have no problem when I start Malware Bytes after windows has loaded all the programs at start up.

I have MLB Installed on other 2 PC with windows 7 and there I have no problem, but I have noticed the MLB is load at the end.

On this computer is loaded at beginning of start up even before the antivirus.

So I'm sure if I can make load MLB at the end of start up I will fix the problem.

Do you know how to do ?

It is a conflict with MBAM and your anti-virus. On your other computers you mention you have windows 7. Malwarebytes installed on windows 7 is setup as a delayed start, that is why it loads last after you anti-virus has already loaded. On Windows XP there is no delayed start-up in the services. This is why I am asking you to add these exclusions and that should solve your issues.

I recommend that you follow Firefox's excellent suggestions, but if they don't work (for some reason or another), one other option is to install WinPatrol from billPstudios.

It is a free program (though there is a paid, PRO version, as well) that allows one to set any program (including MBAM) to a delayed start at a customizable time after booting.

Just a thought...
