Length of time to scan

Hi, First post in here. How long does it typically take to carry out a "quick" scan. On my daughters laptop it took 3.5 hours and was still not complete when we aborted it.

Most users can run a Quick Scan in under 10 minutes with some on fast systems being able to run it in under 2 minutes.

You could have an infection blocking the scan, you could have hardware issues. The best thing to do it follow the directions below and someone will assist you as quickly as they can.
