For the past couple weeks I have been experiances the following issues with my laptop,

Error, Windows cannot download any updates due to network Error. This appears to be a network error, i.e. the computer trying update windows is disconnected from the network when it isn't

Firefox, IE8 once open will open a new homepage window at random without being selected.

I've tried searching the WEB and continuously running AVG anti-virus, malware etc but no joy. Any help and advice would be much appreciated. I have also downloaded and used Malwarebytes and had problems (see Post 1)

Again any help and advice would be much appreciated.
