Antivirus2008 HELP!!!!

I have been trying to remove this (Antivirus2008)..... I am NOT a computer person (please don't hit me :unsure: ) ... I have Norton Internet Security 2008 , all up to date, my XP is up to date...I did ALL the scans possible and NOTHING has worked...please help me!!!!

What will remove this and keep me safe.... My XP firewall is On and my Norton has a firewall as well...I must of clicked on a pop-up and BAM! I got hit.... I do NOT download stuff...

Hi Jesse.

Please download malwarebytes antimalware, install it, and update it. Then allow it to perform a QuickScan on your system. Reboot when it finishes if it asks you to do so. Once you do, scan again, and post the logfile please.

I will also require a hijackthis log after you complete scans with MBAM.

Hi JesseXXX and welcome to Malwarebytes. HiJack This! is the program you need to install. To add a signature go to the My Controls link and find Edit Signature it's fairly self explanatory from there, but if you still need help let us know. I'm going to move this topic to the correct forum and step out of it.
